She'll be thrilled when you tell her how much money you're going to save in DIY maintenance.

Just tell her it is a safety item! Also I've been told to start mentioning motorcycles if the car hobby starts getting too many questions LOL. Now you're set! That lift will pay for itself in a few seasons.

I went back and forth multiple times between Brushed Clear and Anthracite and finally landed on Anthracite as my final choice, UNTIL I was at my race shop recently and saw a GT Silver GT4 with the brushed clear and it really popped and had enough contrast against the GT Silver color that it changed my mine.

IMO, the Anthracite almost exactly matches my stock Satin wheels and actually has less contrast.

Long story short, I ordered the Brushed Clear in 20's of course since I have PCCB's.

Default Fabspeed Exhaust Tips

I picked up these Fabspeed tips from a fellow Rennlister. I have Akra OAP’s and stock back box so fitting the 3 inch tips to the 2.5 inch outlet pipes was challenging. I like the look over the black OEM tips.

I also have the Akra OAP and stock back box. Those tips look fantastic. What was the solution to the different diameters of tubing? I might want to get me some of those.

I cut down both ends to make it as short as possible but still leaving enough material for the Fabspeed clamp to grab on. On the 2.5 inch inner diameter end I cut slits in the pipe so I could use a clamp to cinch it down. Purchased two of these from O’Reilly auto parts. I used my Dremel tool for all the cutting.

These clamps worked really well to cinch down the modified part to the stock exhaust outlet. It took a couple of hours to make all the cuts. The Dremel was slow going. It is very tight and doesn’t move at all. I ran the car pretty hot and checked the tightness. It was good.

Correction: I cut the vertical slits in the 2.5 inch OD ends that clamp to the stock outlet pipe.

Out with the old Hunziker “Track Day” McQueen racing shoes and welcome the new Puma Speedcat Shield SD Driving Shoes. They match my Shark blue Spyder pretty good. The nice thing about driving shoes is having the rolled heel so it’s better rolling into the throttle. I bought the Hunziker shoes 6 years ago when my obsession with owning a Porsche begin. At that time it was going to be a Miami blue Boxster. Then once Porsche rereleased the Spyder I know that was the car for me. I used those Hunziker shoes with my racing sim that I also bought to get myself ready for my Porsche, lol. I will post a few pics of the racing sim below. I actually still use my setup on Xbox (new Forza8) and on PC playing iRacing. My seat is a Forza edition Playseat and I have a Fanatec V2 wheel base, V3 pedals and V1.5 shifter, I also upgraded the paddle shifters to magnetic shifters. It’s a blast to race with.

I'm a sucker but I picked up a set of BBS FI-R in platinum.
Thanks Eric @SupremePower for feeding the addiction.

@Unstock I have been looking at those blue Speedcats for what seems like months. You just pushed me over the edge.

Very cool man. Those are gorgeous wheels.

I wanted those originally, but I already ordered the APEX wheels last week and I just couldn't justify canceling that order and paying double. I am actually looking forward to seeing what the wider wheel width of the APEX front wheels do for the stability, grip levels, and turn-in of my car.

Well, I'll be able to compare both side to side.
