Did your spacers include a small screw to attach them to the hub or are they just held in place by the lugs? Mine have a few screws on each so that they are fully seated before the wheel goes on.

I ordered the Future Classic 7mm spacers and it came with the small screw to attach to the hub, these do not I don't believe when I was researching different spacer options.

Thats actually what happened with me. When i torqued with full weight I got slight vibration at higher speeds but when I did it as described above, no issues.

4wheelspacers did not come with small screws to attach to the hub.

From what I have seen over the years, only the 5mm spacers had the set screws.

I have 7mm spacers for the rear and they have the screws. I don't recall the brand.

Prior to dropping each side, I torqued the lugs to roughly 70-80FT LB, then dropped the car to full load, torqued to 120FT LB. I’ll redo the process to make sure they’re properly seated, and follow the procedure to tighten as stated above.

Future Classics set pin that screws into the hub was the alluring option vs the others.
Is it common for only one of the places where the set screws to be void of a factory screw? Only one of the two points on the hub had a screw in place, and I never messed with the hub prior to installing the spacers…

New wheels and tires for cooler temp

Front: 20x8.5 et51 running 245/35/20
Rear: 20x11 et52 running 295/30/20 with 8mm spacer

Tires are Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus - UHP all season

These tires are a lot quieter than the OEM Pirelli, I can hear more exhaust note with the Conti (I have the collar mod on OEM exhaust)

Set screws aren’t needed for rotors or spacers, period.

Just made my last car payment for my weekend toy, a 2022 718 Spyder . Nice to no longer have a chunky payment every month. I was making double, triple and quadruple payments to fully pay it off in less then 1 year and 9 months. Now time to go car shopping for the wife.

Remember this really good deal I got from Porsche on a full wheel package? Well they arrived, but only the rims LOL. The parts guy completely f***ed up, even though I asked him twice to confirm the deal was tires, sensors, rims, balanced, mounted. He didn’t argue, but clearly was mislead by the internal system somehow. So he was pretty embarrassed and I said I’ll likely take a refund, then they added the caps, sensors, mounting, balance, and shipping to my door if I bought the tires at their cost. So I did, and ordered Alpin PA4 winter tires. So I won’t have an extra set of summer tires as I’d hoped, but now I won’t have to buy winter tires next year. I still came out ahead by about $1500 CDN over an assembled set (individually).

Very nice! I came across a chunk of change and was going to do just that but decided to pay off the Class A we bought two years ago as my Spyder is at 2.5% so I guess I will milk it for now.

Ooof, I was wondering how they were selling all that for like $400 more than Suncoast does just for the wheels. That makes more sense.
