Not likely correct. My V900 dates are Early September. I think the computer just generates V dates automatically with no regard to the on sale date.

Same here for my 2022 Spyder: original V900 delivery date 8/24/21, then slipped to 9/10/21, now sitting at 10/1/21 awaiting EPA emissions certification. Definitely hoping for sooner vs later.

I’ll I can tell you is that last year everyone had the same date, 4 Dec.

Individuals occasionally reported earlier system burps, but ultimately they rolled to 4 Dec.

Post up your screenshot. PVSMS seemed to update on Fridays.

Good luck.

Maybe yours is a 2021 model? The 2022 models are the ones being held for EPA certification. I just looked at their website and they don’t have a Porsche 2022 application in their system yet.

Will triple check with SA, but it's Shark Blue which wasn't available MY21. All paperwork says 2022.

It's going to suck if it's being held until October, or later.

ETA --- SA confirmed, 2022.

Don’t know what’s wrong with some SAs, but last year on both 992 and 718 forums people reporting car en route to dealers w/immediate pick-up via SA updates…ultimately we all waited until the “date”. It was almost a daily “my SA” said “this week” … for months.

There is a “date”…hope for all it’s Aug.

I had a buddy that made me feel "great". He says, "Your car will be sitting in the port of Houston for a month in the most active month of hurricane season."!!!!
Something I had not thought of. On more thing to worry about.

Shaggy, I am pretty sure you are correct as far as the "date" goes. The "V dates" have lagged through this whole process. And like I said, I bet the computer is not considering the official "on sale" date. And we will likely see those dates rectified over the next few days or weeks.

Your SA can tell you what ship it's on. If your car arrived in Emden on 7/30, that's the date that Felicity Ace left, so you may not be on the same ship. Goodwood was scheduled to leave port yesterday, and that arrives at the Port of Houston just a couple days behind Felicity Ace.

Thanks for the info. I would be good with either of those. I guess it doesn't matter much if the thing is gonna sit in the port for a month anyway...

Also, the low oil pressure doesn't seem right. For my 2014 Cayman, the owner's manual stated that the oil pressure should always be above 31 psi at normal driving speeds. I checked the owner's manual for my new GTS 4.0 and for the oil pressure it only says keep it above 51 psi at 4,000 rpm --- not much help. As I mentioned above, the oil pressure stayed in the 25 - 28 psi range on my drive home today --- that's seems too low.
I did some checking on the 718 forum and found that high oil temperatures in the engines for the GT4 has been a concern. Apparently, the engines for the GT4 and GTS 4.0 are designed to run at higher oil temperatures and that, therefore, the oil pressure is lower under normal driving. This situation would agree with what I have experienced in my new GTS 4.0 where the oil temperature is running about 10 degrees higher and the oil pressure is running about 5 psi lower than in my previous 2014 Cayman. In one of the posts, a new GT4 owner was so concerned about the higher oil temperatures and lower oil pressures that he went back to the dealer to discuss. He was taken on a test drive in another new GT4 to be convinced that this situation with higher oil temperatures and lower oil pressures is the "new normal."

In regard to the clanging sound that I was hearing in my new GTS 4.0, I have found something that could be the answer. Apparently, the engines in the GTS 4.0 (including those for U.S. models), have Adaptive Cylinder Control which automatically deactivates 3 cylinders under certain conditions to increase engine efficiency and the owner's manual states that this 3-cylinder operation affects engine noise. As mentioned before, the noise that I was hearing appeared to be only at low speeds when slowing down in traffic with the Auto Stop/Stop Function turned off. So maybe this the explanation.

My understanding is that when the *** is off, cylinder deactivation is also off, so you shouldn't hear it in that case.
