LWB were on stop order back in Feb when my order closed.

So not only do I have a car stuck in Emden for 9 weeks now it also doesn't have buckets.

My order - accepted and placed in Feb, had LEDs with PDLS+ (plus being the operative part) had the LEDs and PDLS+ removed when they placed it from my demand order - all the way back in August 2021 !
When they asked me to confirm the order after I got the "you won the GT4 lottery" screen (order accepted). I was able to re-ad LEDs with PDLS (no plus). I believe the + may still be UNavailable on some models/many if not all Caymans.

LWBs: I considered but didn't order, but was watching as I was considering. From memory, here's the approximate timing:
Cars where allocations were confirmed by late November 2022 and had LWBs in the order were locked in. After that, they 1. couldn't be ordered and I believe came out of a few orders where allocations were received later (same thing that happened to me with PDLS+).
I saw on Rennlist that folks in the UK, then US and other markets, were able to add LWBs. This came down to the wire (my lock date) for my consideration. My "change freeze" date was 3/13, so they became re-available only the week before (at least in the US). My SA wasn't sure this would really work in the US so actually added them to my config March 10(I really didn't want to mess with my config that close to lock w/o their involvement). Ultimately I drove to dealer (75 miles) to sit in the LWBs and decided against them due to how they fit my back. I'm short and no adjustment on a long drive to a track would have doubtless left me stiff. So that was more or less the LWB timing - if it hasn't changed again more recently.
I stopped watching much after my lock date.
I believe your SA missed the nuance that LEDs with PDLS (no plus) became available again last Feb, or something since had changed again.

I didn’t know there are LED PDLS +. My SA did say the + so maybe I could have ordered LEDs. That’s annoying.

im going to try and confirm with my SA today if I get LWB If I can’t get them, there’s no reason for me to buy the car.

I moved forward without LWB as it was on stop order.

Now going to have to pony up 10-15k IF they can be found second hand.

This process continues to disappoint.

If you're before your lock date I expect you can add LEDs, or LEDs w/PDLS, if you want them.. ADS

If I ever start towing my GT4 to tracks, I'll probably add buckets with adjustable backs, found a couple I like. The LWBs are about $3260 more than 18 ways.
The LWBs are the coolest looking seats, no doubt. But - I can build a nice set of reclining seats for just the difference; I think the Corbeau's I was looking at have an option that would closely match my red stitching, you can add heated elements, etc. They won't mimmick LWB/OE look, but will look really good, and will have better function for non-racers.
If I can find a certified set of belts what will work with the 18 way tombstones, I'll be good. Won't have anti-sub, but will keep me in place and be as safe/safer than the OE belts.

my lock date was the same day I was asked if I wanted the allocation.
it was an unusual situation and I had to lock that day.
it’s weird tho because that was 5/16 and TYD has 5/4 as the lock date for step 2. I don’t have any faith in the date since the date for step 1 is 5/8.
I don’t really care about LEDs too much. I was going to order them for the look not so much for a better light

Same, every option except a couple of paint options/PTS and PDLS+ was available when I locked 5 weeks ago.

thanks everyone! Feeling better. Sounds like I missed out on the LEDs but no biggie as long as I get LWB
my SA sent me a build sheet today and it’s at V220 so think it’s good to go.
Not crazy about the disclaimer tho.

I am out of the waiting room. Took delivery this afternoon. Significant change from my 718 Cayman S. First mod with clear markers completed as soon as I got it home.
