Took delivery of my new 2023 BGTS 4.0 this morning. Another exceptional experience at Porsche of the Main Line. A big thank you specifically to Lee, Robert, and Cole through the entire process. It was well worth the wait; this car is spectacular.

Congrats and a beautiful build spec on your new Boxster GTS 4.0. Looks like Agate Grey with the amazing Bordeaux Red interior. We love this color combination. If you purchased from Porsche of the Main Line you’re in our backyard. Look us up if you need any help with ceramic coatings or PPF paint protection. We’re a new supporting vendor.

Looks like another missed vessel.

I was supposed to be on Siem Aristotle today (5/22) and TYD just updated to 6/22 departure. This is getting reallllly old.

Anyone else in the same camp today?

Sitting there right with you. My car was completed late April and has watched a few ships come and go….

Early May completion, was slated for today's ship as well -- now June 22. Oh well.

Urgh - rough.
It will arrive. There's got to be a logical reason it's being held. Most likely waiting on a part.
If it's any consolation - my car's been sitting at the Jacksonville Port for a month now. It's the last place I'd like it sitting with that salt water and those storms that roll through this time of year... but there's nothing that can be done.
Hang in there!

Just curious how you know which ship your car is SUPPOSED to be on? My understanding is we don't know the ship until our car is actually on it.

PS: And so sorry for the unanticipated/extended wait.

God bless you,
TT

Appreciate the kind words. This is what we'd call a "first world problem." Life goes on!

Based on the shipping / vessel schedule and the dates in TYD...you can marry the information and decipher which vessel your car would be on. TYD shows anticipated dates of departure (it last showed 5/22...and the PWL schedule showed a vessel departing Emden (and headed for the east coast of the US) on the same day).

My TYD had an Emden departure of 5/17, which didn’t line up with a ship. But today moved to 6/22 as well.

I think we take it with a pinch of salt until Siem Aristotle gets underway.

Thanks so much to both of you for this information. That's what I thought you meant but wanted to be sure. This is my fourth "rodeo" of having a car built by Porsche and then sent to the US. I am trying to get the latest PWL shipping schedule from Emden but all I get from the PWL website is the schedule for week 7. How are you getting an up to date schedule?

God bless you,
TT

some audacious souls have been emailing the port directly and posting schedules here.

https://rennlist.com/forums/992-gt3-...ispreloading=1

but the latest schedule doesn’t include 6/22 yet.

Thanks so much for that link, g0rillacake. According to TYD, our 718 is scheduled to leave Emden tomorrow and arrive at the US port (which the map indicates is Houston) on 6/15. But according to the latest PWL shipping schdule I can find (for week 19), there is no ship leaving Emden tomorrow for Houston and none scheduled to arrive Houston on 6/15. Good thing patience is a virtue...I think!

God bless you,
TT
