I cleared port processing over the weekend, and it was unloaded from the truck at the dealership this morning. I'm shooting for a 12/24 delivery.

The TYD has shown my car sitting somewhere outside of Dusseldorff for the last 5 days on the way to Emden, has this happened to others?

TYD recently said the production would be completed by 12/20/22, then five days ago it shows in transit to Emden, ahead of schedule. It immediately pin pointed the car outside of Dusseldorf. My arrival at dealership is now 1/20/23. I've got to stop looking at the TYD.

Wow, as I typed that last post an e-mail came from porsche and said the car was finished with production, stage three. The few pics of the car in production were included. It said it will be at the port 12/23, but TYD map shows it now at the port. will see what happens next.

I just got my first email from PEC Delivery... I'm still 4 months from delivery but exciting to see some of these communications starting to come through. I just made my final config change last Sunday - TYD updated and still retaining full bucket seats... so looking good so far! Lock date is Feb 13th so still have some time to make changes if need be...

Now I report that Mr. Claus has interfaced with my TYD and my car DID make the SFL Conductor. It's been back-dated to show a departure of 12/17/2022. @SW6 , I hope you also find similar luck when you recheck TYD.

Yeah, the TYD thing is like a drug! Crazy. Sadly, my Spyder got stuck at Emden for over 5 weeks. Felt like 5 years!

Would you happen to know how often Porsche has shipments from Emden to SoCal? Trying to understand why my car was delayed another month. Are there not many shipments to this side of the US?

Haha for real! Nothing ruins my day like seeing the car get delayed. I stopped checking recently for a week, then check this past Friday and it said it was delayed a month. Emailed my SA and they confirmed the delay. Bummmmmer!

We need an official "build questions" thread -
I am back to toying with the idea of a Spyder+Daily over the GTS.
I spent dozens of hours in the configurator speccing a GTS, but the Spyder is "new to me" and there are a few things I am missing, I wonder if it is me, or it is like that by design:
- Can I change the color of the stap-door-handle to something other than chalk\red\yellow? (edit: https://www.suncoastparts.com/produc...1GTSTRAPS.html)
- Same question for the "Spyder" text over the seats

The colors you see available through Suncoast are the only colors you will get, from a configurator stand point if you don't want to buy them separate and want Porsche to do something custom you'll have to go through CXX and spend minimum of 10k in options and even then there are certain things that won't be approved. I tried to get stitching in a magenta color to match Rubystar and it was denied and I had to choose stitching color out of existing colors. This is going to apply to the stitching of Spyder on the headrest also. If it's not a color option in the configurator it's going to be a CXX option.
