Well, leaving the waiting room on Friday. Plenty of delays on mine leading up to the actual start of production, but when it reached that point it took 6 days to produce, a few days up to Emden, on the Sunshine Ace within 2 days of arrival in Emden, and on schedule across the pond. Into Houston and onto a truck within 2 days, at the dealership 2 days later. I know some are suffering with regards to Emden delays and production delays, I'm truly sorry that's happening but once you have it I'm sure a distant memory. Probably checked TYD 1000 times over the last few months. Shark Blue, PCCBs, LWBS, PDLS (PDLS+ not available), Burmester, extended deviated stitch in Speed Blue, carbon fiber, etc. Quite a few CXX options but no delays at all during production, which surprised me. Pretty sure Burmester had something to do with that, that is, lack of Bose (parts shortage). Lucky to get an MSRP allocation, only history with the dealership being one 993 traded in and one 991.2 bought. I was at the dealership within 2 days of the allocation coming in and asked for it, personal relationships matter. Good luck to all!

Curious to hear about what CXX options you got, along with photos and pricing, if you would be willing to share. I am building a CGTS 4.0 and am thinking about some CXX options.

Thank you.

Upon further review, I misspoke regarding CXX options. Thinking I might be wrong I did a little research on what they actually are and realized I did not have any. I was mistakenly considering things such as headlight cleaning system covers, steering column casing in leather, painted keys, etc. as CXX, which they are not. CXX looks like a whole other level of ***-pain. Tried to do PTS (Riviera Blue) but was out of the window. Sorry for the confusion!

My CGTS arrived at Emden on 11/24, and TYD this morning updated to show it wouldn’t be on a boat until 12/9. The dealership arrival date changed from 12/16 to 1/6. My SA texted me tonight to say it’s now on the San Martin. TYD updated tonight to indicate the same. That ship will hit Houston on 12/9 so the original dealership(Porsche Plano in DFW) arrival date of 12/16 is likely. I’m still not sure how long it sat at Emden as I’ve seen both 11/19 and 11/24 as arrival dates at Emden after production completed on 11/17.

I am waiting in Dallas too. BGTS from park place Porsche. Today was the day to exit production. As has been each of the previous 7 Fridays. I have a great SA. How did you get notified of the advance schedule vs TYD? I went into production 9/19.

My SA texted me out of the blue tonight to say what boat it was on. So far everything has been surprisingly efficient. Production started within a week of the original estimate, and I seem to have gotten through Emden quickly.

On a related note, Park Place wouldn’t even give me the time of day when I contacted them back in April along with Porsche Grapevine and Porsche Plano. Park Place told me there was no waiting list I could get on for a CGTS allocation. Grapevine also led me nowhere outside of trying to get me buy used inventory. I have no prior history with Porsche so I figured this was par for the course and was surprised when my SA at Plano called me, talked to me for a while, and immediately put me on their list without any fuss or deposit.

After almost 5 weeks at V280, my CGTS just went V331 (Entry port Emden)! Now all I need is a ship to Halifax... It looks like the Siem Aristotle and Felicity Ace are both scheduled for December, so fingers crossed that there's room on one of those!

I made room in the garage on Friday, trading in the 2022 Z4 M40i that I've had since June. 7,000 kms over the summer on it. It was a fun cruiser with a decent sound in Sports mode, but not available in MT (and not a Porsche!). At the end of the day, I walked away with nearly full value on the trade, so no complaints!

Am still waiting for "My Porsche" to update from Stage 2 to 3 (and for production pics), but I'm happy with the PSVMS print-out from my SA for now!

Congrats! I sold my A91 Supra (the Toyota step-brother to the Z4) in prep for my GT4. I have to say, once the car gets on a ship, I've found the wait to be a lot more bearable compared to just constantly tracking TYD. I think its because I know the ship doesn't really report its location once its on the open seas (makes sense) and so the best I can do is just wait. However I know once it lands stateside I'm going to be all giddy again for the last month.

My BGTS finally finished production on Friday after having started in Mid-September. TYD shows in route to Emden today which the dealership confirmed. No pictures yet it TYD, but I hope to see them this week.

I asked my SA if it would arrived fully assembled or if it would be grounded waiting on an amplifier or anything and he indicated that it looks to be 100% complete. Hopefully it will make it on the boat leaving Friday and be here via the port of Houston right around year end.

I'm surprised you didn't switch from TYD to one of the maritime apps/sites to check ship position.

Yeah, grab the Marine Traffic app and you can follow the ship the entire way. The ship carrying mine just exited the English Channel and is entering the Celtic Sea on its way to Halifax.
