Damn. I’m not usually on the right side of the dividing line.

Hey @SpyderSenseOC - good for you! That's awesome news.

Did your SA have any sense as to what will happen to cars that are on the other side of the cutoff date? I am hoping they will still be made, just later....

Why does the PVMS show planned and then expected dates? If they know the schedule is going to slip why not just one date? New to all of this.

I think my car will be produced as I have a planned CP8 date of 3/11 with an expected date of 4/1. But who knows...Making me crazy....

He didn't say much other than I'm good. Barely. For now. Which was good enough for me. I'll inquire further tomorrow.

@Fsudoles: After thinking that I had missed the SFL Composer headed to Davisville, Track Your Dream updated this morning and is reporting I am on it. MYou mght want to check the app too (or check w/ your SA).

Good morning, ya, I check daily, still no updates, I am looking to get on a Jacksonville bound vessel, I believe it’s going to be the Supreme Ace, currently moored in Mexico, so it’ll need to make the crossing, load up, then make the crossing again. My arrival date to the dealer keeps counting down, 28 days now, but that’s not happening. Congrats by the way! Very exciting.

The fact he indicated he knew you were good implies he knows about the above direction, and that you are on the right side of it. As opposed to "I don't know" or "I will try to find out". Which implies they HAVE the above guidance, but have been told to not acknowledge it as official (probably because of the ensuing customer **** storm).

Or he could just be keeping his customers smiling. Who knows.

TYD still shows me as CP8 on 4/1 and delivering 5/20; but that and $10.89 will get me a cup of Starbucks coffee.

I got an email last month saying my local dealership finally had an allocation for me with an April build and a May delivery. Questions:

Looking at the information above is it likely that my allocation is gone?

All I have is an order # 982360, where are you guys getting info on your order?

Do I need something besides the order #?

Should I have gotten a link from my SA?

Unfortunately my SA is less than helpful and very uncommunicative but after waiting almost a year I don't want to rock the boat as it were and am trying to be patient.

Had a production start (v260) scheduled (planned) for the beginning of April and just got an updated PVMS screenshot from my SA showing that expected date has slipped 6 weeks.... O well at least it's not more..... hopefully the wiring harness shortage is just a logistic issue in getting the part shipped to Germany....

Hope the war and suffering end quickly for Ukraine

Default Info

#982360 is a Model Type #. Your SA has much more info available to him (or her) in the Porsche Sales & Vehicle Management System. I believe that if you are registered on www.porscheusa.com/myporsche you should be able to find more info on your own (if an allocation really has been assigned to you).

@JP66 Your SA should not consider it an imposition at all to give you a status update on your car. Many people get them regularly (weekly, monthly...)

Has anyone recently received a car through Houston and can comment on what they saw/are seeing for port processing times?

Thanks guys! Of course, almost as soon as I finished typing I got a call from my SA with a request for me to sign the final build sheet and purchase order with a commission number of F14178. Is the commission number what I use to track progress online?

I asked him if I should expect any further delays, and he said no my car should arrive May13th. Not sure he is the sharpest tool in the shed, but if true then on the list 6/18/2021 and hopefully getting a car 11 months later. Crazy.

I know not as crazy as living in Ukraine right now, and it's hard to even post knowing what suffering is going on there. For better or worse I hope it ends sooner rather than later.

I was originally supposed to deliver 5/6;

Yesterday, TYD showed me changing to CP8 on 4/1 with 5/20 delivery same as you; My SA confirmed that he also showed a 5/20 delivery date. My car coming to South, FL
