I have been watching online since the ship left Emden, Germany. They took a more southern route and have been delayed by about 2 days. The website vesselfinder.com also shows the ships speed, and the current wave height as well as wind speed and direction. They diverted south, probably to drive the ship into the wind and the waves, so I expect the crossing was rough. I have done 5 transatlantic cruises and only one was rough, with big waves up to 10m. This is no problem, if the ship drives into the waves/wind, which is what the Siem Confusius was doing.

We’ll be on the same boat. My wife’s Spyder has dodged so many bullets that I am worried about Russian attack subs.

1.5 hours until my tyd rolls to 0 for Freeze Date.

A bit on edge here.

Third time's the charm?

Meaningless, either way?

I mean this with the utmost respect……..

You’re a coward for not trying to sneak one more change in.

Good luck

Passenger side cargo net

To be fair, I only changed ONCE, and that was three weeks out from already twice delayed freeze date.

SA just confirmed V260 (enter body shop) today for my BGTS, which is a week later than scheduled and the completion date is still this Friday, the 11th. TYD updated my status to "Start Production" today, too. Hoping the 11th holds firm!

My car is on the Siem Confucius, which should arrive in the port of Baltimore in a few days. It will then undergo port processing and then head to a dealer in the Baltimore area where I will be taking delivery. TYD is allotting 2 weeks for port processing. I'm guessing it won't actually take that long. Does anyone have an idea of how long port processing usually takes?

Port PDI is generally a day. Biggest variable is car carrier from port to dealer. Took 6 days post port release from Houston to San Antonio for me.

My car arrived in the afternoon and I picked up next day at 9AM.

I expect it’ll be shorter since Port and Dealer same city.

Congrats

My days until delivery keeps keep shrinking (at 67 today) but I never start production. :-(
