Optimistically, maybe it is on a boat on the way here, and TYD is just out of date. Shrug.

I called the dealership, no luck. Anyhow, the last I saw of the Supreme Ace it was offshore Mexico waiting to dock supposedly tomorrow. We’d have to wait for that to happen then wait for the ship to get back to Germany and load up. Maybe late March if that’s the one…April deliveries.

https://europe.autonews.com/automake...conflictBERLIN -- Porsche will halt production at its factory in Leipzig, Germany, due to supply-chain problems stemming from the conflict in Ukraine.

The factory was forced to suspend production from Wednesday afternoon until the end of next week, a Porsche spokesman said in an emailed statement to Automotive News Europe.

Porsche builds the Macan and Panamera models at the plant.

At the brand's Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen factory, which builds the Taycan and 911 models, production will be maintained this week, Porsche said.

"Further steps will take place in an orderly process," Porsche said. "In the coming days and weeks, we will continuously reassess the situation. The degree of impact on our business activities is determined on an ongoing basis by experts in a task force."

I promised myself I am not going to worry and panic anymore. My Carrera T is sold and will be leaving on 3/17. My Spyder is scheduled to enter the body shop on 5/27. More than likely the Spyder will be delayed. At this point, I am trusting the process and she gets here when she gets here…..

I'm still showing a late July delivery. Worrying about a car seems so trivial in the grand scheme of things when people are losing everything including their lives.

At least the VW group will suspend imports into Russia. Not sure if that will have any meaningful impact on availability but at least it is punitive.

I am jealous. Both our Spyders had the same build dates and mine is still in production according to TYD.

I feel like the TYD app is a great idea, but seems to struggle at times with having the most up to date information. I have a buddy with a build slot for a Panamera, and his build freeze date has changed like 5 times, and the estimated delivery date has also changed a few times. He's going a little crazy...

This isn't to say that the app isn't good or anything like that - I just think there's so many moving pieces, especially with the supply chain issues and the conflict in Ukraine, that it's really hard for TYD to be really accurate.

The language here is interesting: All cars with a planned CP8 date in March (in PVMS) before or including the date above will be produced. All cars with a planned CP* date in March (in PVMS) later than the dates above will not be produced.

What does CP8 mean? Is that the start of production?

And if your start of production date is later than the cutoff date, the car won't be produced...is that forever? Or until the supply chain issues are resolved?

The language is just a bit ambiguous....

Sounds like I’m f***ed with CP8 of April 1.

My TYD went null.

Delete. That post was borderline idiotic.

Yep, that's what my buddy just told me too - it says something like "service not available, check back later"
