@JP66 Yes, commission number positively identifies your car, from what I know.
You need to get your SA to sign you up for TYD, or call 800-Porsche. I think they can do it, too.
Wow, you got an allocation now and it delivers May 13th? You must have inherited one recently abandoned. Lucky!!
@MechEngr1287 Mine delivers to Houston, so they must float yours to Miami as they sail by? Or I guess a car hauler from Houston.
The car is version 2 after conrod fiasco. Yes I know, some of this wait is self inflicted.
If it makes you guys feel any better, original car is supposed to be delivered April 2021. Traded my old car in July 2020. Started looking for allocation March 2020.
So clock is still ticking after two years…..my wait better not outlast the pandemic.
FWIW, My experience with TYD is that it's comically bad. I'm not sure why it even has any dates when they aren't accurate. Porsche obviously has accurate data in PSVMS, which should be the source of truth for TYD. What a horrible customer experience for people excited about a large purchase that they're passionate about. Additionally, a nightmare for SA's who have to constantly track the process of cars for excited customers.
My car was stuck in various states on TYD and I wouldn't recommend getting your hopes up or down based on what it shows. It took 2 weeks from when my SA emailed me production was complete before TYD updated and I got a few of the pics.
I'd say I have a pretty good shot at delivery, but am still in the mindset of not getting my hopes up until I see this thing IRL and have title in hand.
I also received a picture of my Aventurine Green GTS 4.0 from Porsche a week or two after production. The car is on the Siem Confucius, scheduled to arrive in Halifax on March 7th. They had a rough crossing so I hope all is OK.
At Port waiting on a ride to Davisville ...Hopefully getting on SFL Conductor which is docking tomorrow at Emden leaving on 3/8 for Davisville and Baltimore Getting Closer!!!!!

How do you know they had a rough crossing? My car is on there too!
