The last photo of the car facing forward on the production line is the ONLY photo that I received from the TYD app... Nothing else. But, the good news is that the car has landed in Houston, and I'm now waiting for it to be transported to Plano, prepped and delivered to me. The dealership and Porsche are telling me 12/03, and I suppose that is fine, since I would hate to have to fly into DFW during Thanksgiving week. Still the waiting is the hardest part - been in this process for over a year now....
Thats a lot of PTS money right there. I wonder how many times you'll get asked if its shark blue. Beautiful rides![/QUOTE]
Just picked up my 2021 Spyder PTS Club Blau. Lucked in at buying it in Vegas as a change of heart from the original order owner. (Only waited 30 days to pick it up in Vegas from Oregon). Love it’s Pepita seats, yellow deviated stitching, carbon fiber and leather interior. Lucky girl I am!
I hope they're the real photos. This is so awesome. Can't wait for mine!
I REALLY wanted the photo book that the one guy posted on here but just couldn't justify the cost. If I can get 4-5 pics of my car in production, I will be thrilled!

Exactly and agreed. Besides, I heard that there was only one person who does the photos and they were out of work for some reason so the books aren't available.
Oh, and FYI, Corvette offers this for $750 and the hardcover book they give you IS NICE with a lot of detailed pics. Very cool .

I'm that guy with the photobook. The cost was definitely Porsche expensive but keep in mind too that the TYD photos are a new thing that was only available, I believe, to 911 and Taycans at the time of July 2020 so we didn't even get these freebies. The TYD photos only started being available for the 718 line a couple of months ago and it seems that some people are getting the invite and others aren't. I figured with me planning on keeping the car forever, I could spread the cost out year over year and it would really turn into a small cost but really ups the ownership experience (at least for me) because I have a personal book of my car's build. Now that Andreas Preuninger signed the photobook, it's even more special and makes for a great story too.
As far as the photographer, there was only one gal taking the photos and putting it together. Unfortunately, she passed away in March/April 2021 unexpectedly so I almost didn't even get the photobook. As I understand it, they have paused the photobook program until they figure out how they're going to move forward with it. The last I heard some time ago was somebody asked about the program and they were told it might resume in early 2022.
I found this article. They started with 2 cameras and went to 4. Very cool stuff. What they really need is live cam feeds! Vette Museum delivery has them.
My PTS order is quirky. It freezes rather early and even shows dates prior to what the SA suggested, but I've asked for a couple CXX options and they need to be added to the order (PTS safety bars and PTS painted key) before the supposed freeze.
All very blurry, but I'm very excited for the car.
