GT4 has been sitting at the German port since 3/21.
It just missed the 3rd scheduled shipping date of 6/16, now updated to 7/3. Car will be sitting at Emden for 3.5 months.
Original projected arrival to dealer date 5/5
Current projected arrival to dealer date 8/14

Same thing he said on 5/16.
Yet I everyone else cars shipping in 1-4 weeks.
Am I getting jerked around?
Those shipping lists are 100% for sure incomplete... there are more vehicle vessels that carry Porsches out of Emden than are listed on any of the cargo lists I've seen on the forums, so take it with a large grain of salt.
The last 2 vessels that headed to Jacksonville (one with my car on it now) were not on those VW group ship lists.

I hadn't even seen a shark blue GT4 in the flesh until seeing my car yesterday, all I've had to compare is photos, and they just don't produce the colours the same as real life.

Yes. Markups on new GT4s (if you can find one)have been $20k to $30k and sometimes more and this includes used ones in the 4K to 5k mileage range. 4RS has been significantly higher.
That said... I don't think you can order a GT4 anymore. They've ended production after the 2023 models are done so any remaining allocations are already spec'd and in the pipeline. If you want a new one, you'll need to find one on the way or in inventory that isn't already sold but you won't be able to order one to spec.
The next boat that is supposed to leave for the west coast, according to the schedules, is the Glovis Sunlight on the 25th. My buddy's car has been sitting since April, and we're really hoping it makes it onto that boat.
20 k is really not bad as Porsche would have marked up the msrp by 12 to 15k if a well spec'd 24 was able to be ordered. The exact spec GT4RS I had went up by 22k on the configurator.

I agree that your wait has been excessive. The latest issue I've been seeing is a lack of boats shipping to the west coast of the US. There has been a regular stream going to the east coast. I don't know where the problem is with this, but have heard of low tide issues at the Panama Canal causing delays, so maybe the shipping companies were planning for that.

Just sharing a belated update about my experience. Car arrived in Jax on 6/9 and transported to dealer in SWFL on 6/13. I took delivery on 6/17. I was surprised how fast it went from the port to dealer. It’s now with the dealer as they are going to transport it to the shop for PPF and tint and it should be ready for me to pick up by 6/24. That was a lot less painless than I expected.
