Thank you! Big fan of shark blue as well. Good call on black brakes. I went with SS. Just cant tell a big enough difference in sound clips between the two and that's just another 2k I can spend on something else lol. I can keep you updated on sound clips as soon as it comes in. Should be here within a week of the car. Dealer ETA for GT4 is within a day or 2 of Christmas day.

My SA sent me a Happy Turkey Day email with a status update; delivery holding firm for Apr 22. That means we’re now under 150 days out. This might almost start to seem like it’s going to happen.

The yellow calipers look great with Gentian Blue. I just got word that Kline has announced another price increase on November 1. So I am going to go ahead and get mine ordered. I figure I spent the money on Carbon Ceramics I may as well spring for Inconel. Although my biggest motivation for the Carbon Ceramic breaks is the reduction of brake dust. Rust rotors after washing the car drives me crazy.
never had problems with Rust for me, but its probably because its dry AF here.

For those of you that haven’t vacationed in Korea, I can tell you it is a best kept travel secret. I loved living there and try to get back when I can.

Well never thought I would join any waiting room here, let alone the 718 but here I am officially today. Email received from Porsche and off we go on my BGTS 4.0 wait.
Sadly leaving behind my 991.2 C4 but my Porsche search began for a 987.2 and mainly due to the mid engine feel that I adore. Could not find anything good for quite some time and finally landed my C4. Happy that mid engine want will be finally coming to an end, plus the chance to build my own which I did not with my C4. I feel very lucky to have received a 4.0 allocation based on some of the crazy wait lists out there I have seen.
Lock date is end of Dec, delivery mid April. Although I know that can easily change based on history here. The 991 Board has been amazingly helpful, I am sure it will be same here. My build issues currently are:
- Sport design gloss black or not (love to do matching exterior colour Sport Design, but assume that is CXX?)
- Leather/Alcantara or Bordeaux/Black interior (looked at Bordeaux in the flesh today and it is darker than I recall and therefore I liked it a lot)
- GT Silver or Agate Exterior
- Red or Black Top (concerned red top just doesn't quite match the bordeaux well enough
- Black or Red calipers with GT Silver and Red Top
- Full throttle build of $128k Cdn, or lesser $115k build
- how get deviated stitch on steering wheel if you choose leather/alcantara or bordeaux/black interior. Seems to be CXX and assume very costly.
- silver standard wheels, carrera sports (loved the black ones I had), or Turbo (have lusted over these wheels for years)
- Burmester or Bose. Read a few people say cabin is small and Burmester is wasted, some say due to small cabin that is why Burmester is better and one to get. I thought BOSE was ok in my C4 but not great.

The Bordeaux interior is exactly the same color as the “red” top for the Targa or Convertible.
the red top does not match the standard red paint color.

Picked up our 2022 Boxster GTS at PECLA. Charles the delivery coordinator did a fantastic job for our group of 10 people that joined us for the delivery process.
food was fantastic and I provided drives in a GT3 for four of our friends as well. And Charles took another three of us out on the track and the four wheel drive track in a Cayenne S. An amazing ride in what is suppose to be a Mom lunch wagon.
Car is more than we expected.
this one is my wife’s car my GT4 will arrive at San Diego Porsche the first week of December.
The shark blue wheels I was told are the only ones shipped to the states.
