Nice to hear it! How long was your wait to this point?
I was V070 back in January and finally got the call last week.
We are both on about the same approx timeline ---- but yikes it looks 'out there' on TYD.
With this much time there are no excuses to not get all those accessories ordered or organized....
and good tips/threads in this forum on how to part with our $ .
Admittedly I was VERY lucky. I actually started discussions with the current dealer im working with during the first week of October. I didnt actually commit to a deposit and V070 with this dealer until last week of october.... (surprisingly I was the first one inquiring for a GT4 they had since selling their previous set of allocations during the last quarter that they received a couple) So essentially from October 25 - Nov. 4th is the only wait I had between V070 and getting an allocation assigned.
I will definitely need to reach out to PCNA 1-800 number to get that TYD...... i never received any of that.....
My aventurine GTS was just delivered a week ago in Ft. Worth from the SFL Conductor (one of the last to be picked up from the ship). Thanks for all of the helpful information from everyone on this thread.
This isn't a highly optioned car, and I'm happy with the way it turned out in person. After spending 5 hours driving back in the stock sport seats, I can't imagine wanting the full buckets in a GTS. To me, the black wheels look perfect with the color. I'm very glad I got the premium package as the lane change assist is a must for this car. Loving the aventurine color and the design looks even better in person than in the photos.
Best of luck to everyone still waiting. Hopefully, the anticipation will be part of the enjoyment you get from ordering the car. It doesn't disappoint.

That is a gorgeous color! I have gone back and forth on color now for a while! I built and spec'd my car with Chalk but have been strongly considering shark blue as well..... god these decisions are tough! :P I really wish I was balling enough for a PTS. I would LOVE a Lava Orange GT4
My SA(yes I still talk to him because I am pimping to get a friend an allocation) said today that PAG announced a delay of a "few weeks" to cars spec'd with Bose sound systems due to supply chain issues. I hope it doesn't cause too much of an issue.
I saw an aventurine 993 a few years ago at a dealer in Scottsdale and decided that my first new Porsche would be that color. My 993 is arena red, another beautiful and subtle color that highlights the form, and this is a perfect match.
The old AvGreen was a different color. Modern AvGreen is new. It's nice. I almost went with that color - like up until the last minute when I decided to go much louder with Shark Blue. Of course, the day I went to the dealership to make the change, there was an Av Green 911 Turbo S and two plan 911's in AvGreen on the lot! It was hard to pull the trigger but I did. But let's face it, the best looking Porsche is... YOUR Porsche!

Your car is beautiful. Well done. I would LOVE to configure a new 718 Spyder in Aventurine with aurum wheels and black PCCB's. That would be insane.
I would consider doing the roll hoops in the standard default color. When you do it in the paint color, it breaks the lines of the car. The Spyder is very curvaceous car. And leaving them in the default color does not interrupt those curves whereas in the painted color, it does. Totally my opinion. If it were a GTS or S or base Boxster, I would opt for the painted color as it is a straight line and the color is interrupted by the black top anyway before it gets to the hoops. Not that you should follow the crowd, but the vast majority I think feels the same way as it is not chosen very often on the Spyder.
Now that I look at it a bit more, it is looking a bit weird... It definitely looks better from the rear than the side profile view. I'll seriously reconsider this. Thanks to all those who commented. I thought it looked pretty good parked in my living room

The "humps" on the Spyder are really what set the car apart. The painted hoops put a very definitive end to that line. WIthout the painted hoops, our minds carry that line out into infinity....IOW...it continues and never ends. Not sure if that is a good way of saying it.

Is this for cars waiting to be built or out for delivery?
I opted for the GTS Boxster to get the automatic roof rather than a manual top. The hp difference is trivial and I like the humps but not enough to have to manually open and close the roof while parked.

The more I look at it, more I'm convinced that all you fine folks here are correct. The loops now look like big ole bunny ears it's just getting weirder and weirder. Perhaps it's a psychological thing that's happening by getting it called out, but I'm definitely setting this back to default black scheme. Thanks everyone for saving me
