After trading in my 2019 GT3RS in March, our long wait for a GT4 is nearly over as our car has arrived at Hennessy in Atlanta. A huge shout out to John Dissen for another great experience! We can't wait to pick this up on Monday!

I did on Tuesday. Great experience from lunch to track driving to delivery; I would highly recommend it if you have the chance. Drove 240 miles in the first 24 hours and the car was awesome. Now it’s parked, though, as headed for 10 days in Alaska.

Maybe a year if you're proactive and everything goes right? Mine was about a year and it was thx to some people on here helping and thx to a dealer that didn't bump my spot. But throw all of that out wiht today's market.
Right now it depends on how much effort you put into finding an allocation and how much you're willing to go above msrp to make it attractive to the dealer.

pre-car demand craziness there was someone claiming to be on wait lists for 2 years with 8 still ahead of them. There were people who walked into a dealership and got an allocation that day. Then you have the people who received allocations last year but ended up with recalled cars that still dont have them today. Don't forget the people who put their name on the list for a gt4 after the last gt4, so 5 years+ there to get a car. Depends on your region too; Seattle? GL getting a car. Bay area? Ya, you can get one if you don't mind a massive ADM. So I don't think anyone can accurately say what the average is, but it's definitely more than 9 months I'd say.

Agreed on this one. Even paying over won't get you an allocation anymore since there are pretty much none around.

I asked for and got a GTS allocation in November and again in May. In both cases I was V200 (confirmed order with a build date) in less than 3 weeks. The first one was delivered to the dealer four months later but subject to the stop sale. The second one is PTS and it will take 8 months. My impression is that you’ll have a much longer wait for a GT4 or Spyder. If they stop producing GT4 and Spyders and start producing RS versions of those cars the VIPs are going to suck up all the production for a while and the wait will stretch from years to infinity.
I don’t understand the experience of people who have put a deposit down and waited years. I’m an N of 2 but those stories are contrary to my experience. Geography could be a factor as I’m in the southeast and I know the west coast has far more money sloshing around chasing cars.

Has anyone had their car disappear from their MyPorsche account after it was built but before it was shipped? I even got the factory photo and everything, but when I went back to pull them up there's no record of the car or the photos.

Yes, ALL THE TIME. Usually logging completely out and then back in will resolve the issue, but sometimes not. It always ends up coming back if I check later on. I think the site is very glitchy in general.

I never had my car work with the MyPorsche app. I guess now that I have it it should be possible to fix it but we set it up at the dealership when I went v200 and it never showed up as linked to my app even after trying to fix it once prior to delivery so I guess the app isn't 100% perfect.
