So my '22 BGTS will be arriving port in the next couple days, but due to the TPM Module, they aren't allowed to schedule the PECLA delivery, and as of now the earliest date is 4th of November. That will no doubt continue to push out until my car gets the chips installed at port.
Alternatively, my SA can have the car removed from PECLA delivery and sent directly to the LA based dealer, and in that case I can have the car in early October.
What do you guys think? Is the PECLA delivery worth a 1+ month delay? PECLA sounds like it would've been a lot of fun, but i dunno if a 2 hour instruction lesson is worth a 5 week delay

This is my third PECLA delivery, and I will be doing a 4th PECLA delivery on my incoming CGTS 4.0 in December. You’ve waited this long for the car already…why not make delivery day a bit more special? PECLA delivery is a blast…plus you can take the car straight to Angeles Crest after…

Hmmm…this is interesting. My 22 GT4 is inbound and PECLA had me schedule my delivery today, which I am assuming means it’s not being held up. Taking delivery mid November.

CGTS is going on Sottozero as soon as it’s delivered. You will most definitely see it caked in salt at Motorwerks LOL

My Spyder was on the Siem Cicero and arrived at Sparrows Point yesterday. SA called me today saying the TPMS module deficiency is fixed and the car has been released for transport to the dealership with no stop sale. I was expecting a delay for the TPMS module. Some cars are still being fixed at the US port. Also, I was told some cars are being fitted with TPSM even after V300 (Vehicle completion) but before leaving Germany. I can say my car's actual V331 (Emden port entry) was 4 days after the expected V331, which is usual. So, maybe my car received the TPMS in Germany, perhaps before arriving at Emden, but the ordering system was not updated with the fix. Keeping my fingers crossed that the dealership is not misinformed, car is released for transport, and the part is being sent to the dealership for the fix. I'll know for sure when the car is delivered to the dealership. Anyone else in this situation?

I'm hoping that since our cars left the factory about the same time that I ended up with the TPMS module installed too. I know there was an unusually long hold for several days as the car was in the last stage of production (beyond that plant vacation shutdown). If the ship stays on schedule it should arrive in Houston in 5 days and will hopefully come on over to Austin quickly.

Even though the car is at port and I initially received a mid Oct estimate for PECLA delivery, I was just informed today that due to the backlog, my PECLA delivery date would be in December. Alternatively I could nix PECLA and take delivery earlier at the dealer.
Here’s the thing… when asking if I could take a dealer delivery and get some sort of voucher/credit to do the driving experience at a later date, I was flat out denied.
Luckily it seems like my SA is on it and will try to make things right. Apparently they have also received the TPMs so hopefully taking possession is just around the corner. Still waiting on an ETA 🤞🏼
