My MY22 CGTS is has been sitting at the Port of Baltimore since coming off the Felicity Ace on 8/12/21. My dealer and I are in PA, which is a CARB state. I pinged my SA today about an updated delivery schedule, and this was his response: "Your car is on port hold due to Tire pressure monitor shortages. I was told that will be resolved in the next week."
I am right there with you....or i should say, my car is right there with your car....mine currently shows a status of "port handling". My SA and I assume that is TPMS sensors, but I really am unsure.
Loving it more and more. My main problem is that Sydney is locked down right now and I can't go more than 5km from home. The short drives i've had where I have been able to have a bit of fun have been pretty damn special. JCR Exhaust sounds amazing.
I am itching to get it out on the racetrack more and more. I don't particularly enjoy driving quickly on the street so the sooner I can get it on track and actually start exploring the limits, the better.
My SA informed me that the 2022’s are going to start being delivered from the port of Houston to Porsche North Houston and presumably other dealers. The tire pressure monitoring system parts they lack are being shipped to the dealer where they will installed in the vehicles. So, this is great news as my car and others should be ready for delivery to us in the near future.
Well, yesterday I found out that my car had been shipped from port. Today I got a text message with a picture of my car at the dealership! After a scramble to wire the money before the same-day processing deadline, I picked up my GT4! Seeing it in person was incredibly satisfying and also a relief because you never quite know how something will look IRL compared to the configurator or online pics. Can’t wait to put some miles on!!

I was just told that my MY22 BGTS heading to Port of San Diego is also affected by the TPMS shortage. Hopefully it is only a matter of a week or so like you mentioned!
