...I was more bothered by the lack of bright color choices and inability to get PTS for the GT4 and was willing to pay (as they probably already know)...
I feel the same, and also can't get a color near want I want. I think I may go the way of Liquid Wrap.
For those who may be interested, I have a shark blue CGTS 4.0 coming toward the end of November at my home dealer…I had ordered the car but will be passing on it as I bought a GT3RS. PDK, premium, GTS interior pkg with chalk stitch, black wheels, Burmeister, manual sport seats. If anyone is interested, would be happy to connect you with my dealer before the car arrives and goes into inventory.
For a comparison on how Shark Blue may look with different cameras/phones here a few I took with my phone. My phone photos looked a shade darker than SB in person. I’m happy with SB on my order.
( Just when I thought I knew what color wheel I wanted, your GT4 showed I was wrong.)
Care to share more pics of your build, and if you had a thought process for wheel color choice?
Thank you.
I went black with my Shark Blue as well. I think it is a fairly bright color that needs some contrast. I went black calipers as well because red was a bit much with blue and black. And I also went yellow on the inside with stitching and dials and belts. Since I went with black wheels and calipers I left the washers black and did black door handles in black as well as blacked out the Porsche logo across the back. So there is nothing but blue and black on the outside.
I know you weren’t asking me directly but thought I’d give you my thoughts. I pick it up today so you’ll likely see pictures later!!!

Thank you for your thought process. Great choice with all the black bits contrasting the blue.
Did you choose racing yellow stitching or speed yellow stitching?
Looking forward to seeing some pics!
Congrats!

I'm excited for you! I hope your trip went well and you weren't too distracted with wanting to rush back home to get the car.
I should just be a few days behind you. The status info shows it was offloaded from the ship but doesn't show it has been through PDI at the port yet.

I had more pics earlier in this thread around September 12 ish and a did video on youtube
porsche code was PNENRYS6
I did a black and blue build, interior is carbon trim/sills and 18 ways with the extended stitching in speed blue
With the blacked out tail lights and the ability to black out the porsche on the back I wanted to keep it consistent, I also did the black brake calipers. The wheels are thin spokes so the black on the wheels isn't overwhelming at all, the huge brake discs are silver and provide a nice contrast IMO
Wheels are the easiest thing to change, but am happy I went with black as it looks great! I got some Sasparilla (brown/bronzeish) HRE FF11's on the way for my all season tires so that should be interesting, I hope it looks good as the OEM wheels do!

I've perused this entire thread and could only find one set of photos for the Cayman GTS 4.0. I realize the thread is for GT4/Spyder but maybe the thread was made before the GTS 4.0 was merged into this sub-forum? Anyway...anyone got more photos of a shark blue CGTS?
