The Official Shark Blue Color Thread

If you notice I have the whole black and blue theme going. Black door handles and black washers to go along with the blacked out emblem. It is amazing how Porsche markets things. If you want blacked out, you will pay money. If you want a body colored theme, you will also pay money. It is not by mistake they do that. They are inside of our heads!!!

If I had a regret, it would be not getting carbon fiber door sills. I have carbon fiber trim. The door sills would really complete the look.

Yes, absolutely. It’s a stupid thing, but I always enjoy seeing those lighted door sills when I climb into the car. Luckily, you can add them!

Very nice build and love the black and blue theme. Hopefully, when you come back from vacay, your tpms module will be installed and it's just a matter of scheduling time to pick it up to enjoy. Have fun on your vacay. Care to share where to? Hopefully, somewhere warm by the coast.

We have a 41 foot cruising powerboat. We do this trip annually. Start out in the upper Texas Coast and go down south where the prettier water is. We usually end up in Port Aransas,Tx. It’s somewhat anachronistic…We could probably spend two weeks in Italy for what this trip costs…but we love it and that’s all that matters. If I didn’t have a boating problem and a sports car problem, I’d be downright rich!!!

Thanks for the kind words! It really is a beautiful car. I also did deviated yellow stitching with yellow dials and gauges and belts. So those calipers will get painted yellow at some point.

Has anyone taken delivery of a BGTS in shark blue yet? Or have seen pictures of one from multiple angles? I just remember the one on the truck from a few months back but it was covered up in the white delivery PPF stuff.

The GT3's are incredible cars but I find myself really liking the Cayman's size, shape and configuration better. As far as aesthetics go, for me the GT3 peaked at the 991 versions. I'm sure it will grow on me and I know it has the fantastic front suspension now.
