Sorry to offend the GT4 and Spyder (GTS not included in thread title), but here is a walk-around video of my shark blue BGTS. Still, it may be helpful when ordering your GT4 or Spyder.

No offense taken here. I'd be all for an admin tweaking the title. She's looking great!

I have to say that your camera did a really good job of capturing the color and this should be a good reference for those considering it. It gets just a little more intense still in direct sunlight, and when I went out before sun-up for an early morning Rudy's breakfast taco run this morning, I also realized how dark the color appears at night.

I agree with this observation--very close to what it looked like to me. There are many other examples that are similar. I struggled to settle on color, and my reticence to go with the shark blue is that so many of the pix show it to be a less rich, almost pastel blue. My order just locked yesterday, and I'm particularly pleased to hear you say it intensifies in more intense light (Edited per StormRune). I'm sure not to the extent of the picture of his car in the service bay, but still.

Here's an example of what I mean about the less intense color that often shows up on camera:

I thing we may have a different interpretation of the term intense and I don't want to mislead you. You said "pleased to hear you say it intensifies in dimmer light" but I said "It gets just a little more intense still in direct sunlight". That photo you showed in the sunlight looks pretty close to me, at least on my display. I know phone and computer/laptop displays can really change how things appear from device to device.

it is definitely not pastel at all, it is an intense blue! Pictures at least with cell phones do not capture it well at all.

Which is exactly why I struggled so hard with making my decision. Unlike the good ol' "I'm off to get my Pontiac Skylark" days when you could go to a showroom and see a bunch of colors and trims before driving off in your choice, we're lucky if we see a car or two IRL while we make our decisions.

I had previously confessed that I made one big mistake in my build and used Miami Blue seats in my Shark Blue build. Gah. I should have just used black.

With true Shark Blue seatbelt availability now sliding out to December, I had Seatbelt Planet send me a swatch of a blue that looks close but at certain angles seem to change and not look quite perfect. When I looked at it in the interior against the stitching the color seem to really shift, while the Speed Blue on the headrest still appears to agree with the photos of the paint colors so I don't think it is a camera phenomenon. My eyes perceived this difference too at this angle.

$300 to redo the webbing was certainly more attractive than the $1000 for the whole units, but I think I'm going to wait. But here's what I see and the name of the color in case anyone is interested.

Laguna looks pretty close, no? If the only blue inside the car is the belts, would you think Laguna works?

You know, you might just be right. From some more angles it is looking pretty good even with the blue stitching. Here are photos I took that tried to get the paint, the stitching, and the Laguna colored belt all in the same shot. I don't think 99% of people would ever know unless they had a Shark Blue belted car themselves, and even then it might be hard. We'll have to see what the official ones look like side-by-side one day.

That's a go. May not be exact but can't really tell because of the different surface texture. Much better than Miami blue belts.

Looks incredible! In a way I'm glad it's taken so long for my allocation to come through. Pretty sure I would have fallen back on some other color without being able to see how good Shark Blue looks on the GTS.
