Hey all colour lurker here - Looking at the shark blue option - I am surprised no one has gone for the Spyder Man theme! - haha kind of half joking but not….
In addition to the shot I added in the Side Shot Saturday thread, here's a couple more from my first attempt at a photo shoot late this morning. I attended a PCA Cars and Coffee earlier this morning and was rather shocked on how much attention the GT4 in Shark Blue drew given all of the other great cars and much bigger fish in the pond there.
Thanks for posting these pics! Gives me a decent idea of what mine will look like. No PCCB's for me though
I've ordered my CGTS in the same combination you have (Shark Blue with Espresso leather, along with Speed Blue Extended Deviated Stitching). I also decided to bring more color inside by selecting Shark Blue interior trim, as well as Shark Blue seat belts. My concern is that the interior has a lot of dark brown, including all of the carpeting. I'm also trying to figure out the color of the roof lining material, and whether it depends on which you order: fabric or alcantara.
I would have picked the black leather interior but for my recollection of how incredible Porsche Natural Leather looks, feels, and smells. I had red/black natural leather in my '15 991.1 GTS everywhere, including the dash all the way to the defroster vents, as well as the end caps, with deviated stitching. This time, with the 718 CGTS, I did not splurge for the full leather dash and end caps, but with the full interior being Espresso the deviated stitching is also on the seats.
Espresso is not really a dark brown color. It really "warms up" the interior and -just like you pointed out- it is higher quality than the omnipresent black/beige/red leather alternatives. The standard headliner is race-tex (aka. alcantara) and I chose race-tex sunvisors to match.
How many people have cars in production this week. Mine is and I am wondering if they will have a large batch of Shark blue cars coming down the line. I finally saw Shark Blue in person for the first time today. My dealer called to tell me they just got a GT3 in so I ran down to see it. For me the color was as expected. What surprised me was that I was underwhelmed by the looks of the GT3. They also had a racing yellow GT4 just off the truck and the lines of the GT4 are just so good to my eye. I have no regrets.

My estimated "enter production date" is this Friday the 19th. Is yours actually on the line, or are you expecting it will start this week based on the estimated milestone completion at the tracking site?
To your other point, mine won't add to the SB tally. I'm going LO

I did get confirmation that my car entered the body shop on 11/11. TYD is broken.
WIth that picture, you're basically drafting the car in front of you and your DRS system is about to activate to make the pass to move into P3. Next move is when the car is unloaded and you move to P2.
Shark Blue is a great color and it looks awesome in this picture. Love how it shows the various hues all over the car.

In case you have not seen Shark Blue in person yet
I got to see Shark Blue in person today and it looks crazy good. But if you are desperate to see what it looks like. Go to your nearest Mobile gas station. Here it is. Shark Blue post.
