Gt4 loves this kind of track

I did a 2:05.762 at Thunderhill East (3-mile) this past weekend. I learned a few more tricks later in the afternoon, and gathered up enough courage to keep it nearly full throttle through turn nine, but temps had climbed up into the high 90's so I still couldn't get a better time. Next time, though…

Default Eagles canyon clockwise

Had a blast driving eagles canyon in clockwise direction. Complete roller coaster and tons of fun. I think the GT4 could do a 2.07 there in this config stock.

Thanks for sharing and nice driving! That place looks so fun! I have trip planned in October so watching this make it painful to think it is that far from now before I get to do some laps.

Best track in texas right now, almost makes up for TWS being gone - aside from the location for Houstonites.

Absolutely. COTA was designed for F1. It does not flow well for street cars and does not have enough pucker factor. It could be that I'm getting bored of it after thousands of laps on it over the years....

World class facility and operating team though.

makes sense - more fun driving new tracks versus a mastered track.

I like them both. Just different. Turn 1 through 11 are amazing at COTA, and our cars can clean up GT3s through the SSs. You can push as hard as you want since the run off is all asphalt and lots of it. Eagles is a bit of a roller coaster especially clockwise and the pavement is brand new and smooth. You don't want to go off roading though as the grass is still growing back since all of the construction.

My best so far in my PDK GT4:

1:52.23 at Sonoma
2:02.95 at Thunder Hill East (3-mile)
1:42.09 at Laguna.

I'm most comfortable at Thunder Hill. Was feeling pretty good at Sonoma but those walls are scary so I back it off by 1/10. Have only been to Laguna with this car once.

Here is a video of Thunder Hill:

Just got my best time in my 718 GT4 at Calabogie Motorsports park: 2:20.70

RE-71R, ferodo pads, camber plates and rear toe links for track alignment.
