First time with the GT4 at Barber and set a new PB. Got to spend some time chasing a 981 Clubsport around and was amazed how close we were. Neither of us could get away from each other. I was so excited to get out there that I forgot to start my Garmin and my Apex Pro, so I'm hoping I can get the data from the Clubsport to see exactly what are lap times were. He told me we were consistently in the 1:37s. Only mods are Ferodo DS1.11, Castrol SRF, Akra OAP, 19 wheels, and Bridgestone RE71R, 255/35/19 and 305/30/19.

Thank you, and enjoyed your videos as well. You were giving that Corvette fits. I'm also trying to convert from a 911 to the GT4. Biggest two things is realizing I don't have as much grip under acceleration and that I don't have to get the car rotated on corner entry. Really learning to love this car the more I drive it. With about 100 more HP and more rear grip it would be the perfect car. Pretty close as is.

Agree 💯 for the money absolutely wonderful car. The motor is a bit underwhelming but loving what JCR did to wake it up. I already happy with it and once I get suspension dialed in then I will be extremely happy.

Nice work! It's great to hear what my Spyder will sound like once I finally break it in and get it to Laguna (albeit I have the Soul OAP's but suspect they sound pretty much the same). Two of my business partners have 981 clubsports, won't do as well as u did though as they spanked me in my .2 RS a few months ago lol.

Thank you. Wish I had video with the Clubsport, because they were much cleaner laps with better lines. I'd gotten some coaching between the lap I posted and my time with the Clubsport. Throw some R7's or Pirelli Take offs on and you will absolutely give them fits. Such an easy car to drive. I want to come work with you, sounds like a fun business.

Very nice driving. Not too greedy with the curbs and a good line. Missed a few apexes, but I am sure you fixed that on the following sessions. Thanks for the video.

So much fun to hook up with someone nose to tail for a session and then let the red mist get the best out of both of you. You have an instant friend after that.

Thank you. Love getting hooked up with someone you trust running similar lap times. Yeah I got a coach to ride with me for a session to help me clean things up. I wasn't pushing as hard with someone in the car and while I was working on new lines, but it definitely helped.

Default 6 spd 718 GT4 at Eagles Canyon

One of the best runs I have had since getting proper alignment and toe links etc. goal is to slowly get to consistent 2.08s.

When did you get your JCR exhaust for the GT4? Did it take a while to receive?

Nice job. Looks like a fun track. I know a group of guys that run out there. I need to make the trip sometime.

took 5 weeks and I ordered it in April. I think the lead time is out there further now with current demand.

Great driving! I can't wait to get to run at ECR this fall. Trying to lock in an October trip to go play.

Yes ECR is a fun track. A bit of a roller coaster in places. Here is a video of how to do it from one of our members. This is a repost off of youtube. Jeff is pretty smooth in his GT3, and fast of course. A 2 minute lap is booking for a street car.

And for fun, here is how it is done in a Cup Car by a pro at Eagles Canyon Raceway here in the Dallas. He really gets after it on the last lap and the time shows.
