Not a GT4 but a GTS 2.5 I went a 2:19.9 At sebring yesterday with just Camber plates, Brake pads (hawk DTC 60), wheels (apex 18s) and Tires (Bridgestone RE71RS) and a Design By Jacob Rear wing.
Anyone in here regularly visit NorCal tracks? Sonoma, Laguna Seca, and Thunderhill? Would love to run with some GT4’s faster than me so I can see where I’m slow:
Edit: I noticed this is a GT4 thread, so my data isn’t relevant. But with your times, there’s not gonna be too many GT4 owners faster than you.
My Laguna time is a hair quicker at 1:36.8, but I’m in an RS. So you are definitely moving! I’ve got a lot to learn from the crew to get my time down to the 1:34 range. Looking forward to seeing you on track sometime. I’ll be at Laguna on 10/27 with Lightspeed.

SP Motorsports ran a 1:33 with their GT4 so there’s driver improvements to be made!

This is true! However Jaden is a pro, and as fast as they come…and the SP GT4 is modded as close to a Clubsport as one can be. Still, we can all continue to learn from the best and improve for sure. Jaden is awesome and his laps are fun to watch.
If you make it on Sunday, I’ll be in a red GT4 RS. If I don’t see you, definitely in the near future. The local track community is awesome.
If it helps, here is a friend’s lap at Laguna in his 718 GT4 (manual): 1:34.6. After watching his laps I realize just how much I coast. Great driver, great guy. Pretty sure he’s on Rennlist, too.
