No downside that either of us (GT4 and Spyder) have been able to determine, the sounds that this system brings into the car have not been missed... it can be done for about $15 in parts and a little of your time and is completely reversible.

Thanks man, I'm gonna give it a try (have some BMC air filters to install anyway...)

But you wont get the tuned Kline sound which is worth it!

Plus if after you delete the sound symposer its almost like you can add the Kline SS headers and then have the complete system. No way you can do that with JCR for under $15k. If you are in So Cal PM and i would be happy to let you hear my GT4 with the kline inconel...
Last night I came to the same conclusion as you. Thanks for responding. I also thought about the BC Fab rear section and have decided against that for similar reasons. I love the sound and Kline OAP/valved exhaust seem to be the best value, whether SS or the more expensive Inconel if that is important to the buyer. My only hesitations were customer service/warranty from Romania (an unknown) if anything goes wrong with the system, and as pointed out previously, Kline is not as OEM modular as JCR, etc. The later isn't a concern for my use, but maybe down the road someday if I want/need to sell the system and perhaps the smaller second hand market demand versus something more popular and OEM modular like Soul, etc.

Its hard making these choices on expensive mods when the cars these cars are so small in numbers, let alone the various brands/mod's that interest each of us. Much appreciate all the Rennlist exhaust inputs from the seasoned guys and the novices alike. To that end, thanks for the offer, dnimi123, unfortunately I'm in Ohio.

Thanks a lot. I have seen that there is the complicated way of doing this (opening the engine hood, disconnecting the Symposer tube and filling it in) or the lazy way (taking some carpet behind the seats off and using a sock (?) to fill in the tube). Any reason not to go the lazy way? Should I use something else than a piece of cloth? Eg a cork?

Brilliant. I think you've just discovered an amazing #lifehack for those single socks you find in the dryer. LIKE A BOSS!

Default Noob questions, sorry

Hi guys, I'm new.

What do OAP, GPF, JCR, etc stand for?
Or any other acronyms I need to know in order to be able to understand and learn from you all?

Thank you.

Give Jonny some time, he probably just got back from a long race weekend. Maybe catching some extra sleep, rubbing sticky victory champagne through his hair, etc. At least that's what I hope my Monday's like after my next race weekend haha.

John Gaydos
