BRG is hard to beat imho.

Not mine, but I finally convinced my friend to join the Porsche family. Order was placed today - looks like it will be a 2022. I helped him spec this car and it's pretty loaded up (easy to spec expensive options when it's not your money!): http://www.porsche-code.com/PN11EPX7

Let me know how we did.

Nice build. I like how you guys went with the classic interior, red roof, and Bordeaux seat belts and gauges. Did you guys consider doing the chrono in Bordeaux as well?

One other to note but this thread is for PTS colors, which is Porsche speak for custom paint car. No harm. No foul but I have another thread for tracking and sharing "regular" car color builds. Please feel free to check it out and share your build there too.

Did you guys get a commission number with your order because there are a lot of people out there waiting for buildable allocations so they might be interested in how you got a buildable allocation with a commission number? Were you guys on a waiting list? What part of the country (if USA?) Did you put a deposit down to be on a waiting list while waiting to be called? If so, how much was your deposit? Was it refundable?

Now that the 2022 configurator is out for the GT4/Spyder, has anyone seen an updated PTS custom color list for 2022? Is the 2020 still the latest list available?

Got my arrow blue Spyder over the weekend! What a great little car, lots of low end torque and such a slick gearbox! Also surprised how comfortable it is, I thought it might be stiff like a GT3 but it’s really not at all!

Congrats, mate. That is a beautiful build. I suspect mine will look very close to yours, just in Olso Blue instead of this amazing Arrow Blue. Incredible. And if that is your Macan and GT3RS in the garage, you've got an amazing addition to the crib.

It appears that "Spyder" on the LWBS is in silver, right? So black leather with silver stitching interior?

P.s. So good to hear you reiterate the reports of the excellent suspension. I'm coming out of a 2011 GT3 RS and all be that was the most amazing car to drive, it was super rough at low speeds and only comfortable driving at "impound" speeds on local roads.

I've now hit peak level jealousy...you win the perfect color award! Nicely done pushing through the PTS process, it is clearly worth it!

Congrats! Enjoy in good health. I'm so jelly of everybody getting their cars and enjoying them.

BTW, if that is your GT3 in the garage, very nice collection you have there. What color is it?

It's arrow. But blue is notoriously hard to capture in pics. On my monitor, it appears to be voo doo. Arrow is a little lighter.

Thanks!! Oslo is stunning, if I had known about shark blue when I ordered this I might have picked something else 😅... yep the Macan and GT3 all have their own purposes haha

Yeah it has black leather interior with silver stitching.

It’s a very different car to a 997.2 GT3RS...I wouldn’t say the engine is comparable but it’s just an easier road car to live with...more enjoyable at any speed than the 997.2 GT3RS...but I had one of those a few years ago and it’s still one of the best cars I’ve had but only when you’re on the right road at the right time...

I agree 100%. I will never forget it and it seems every Porsche I drive now I compare to it. But such is the stuff legends are made of.

P.s. Great under the bridge shot of the Melbs. You must have some killer roads up in wine country, no?
