FYI, I sold my Spyder and have listed the Sport catted headers, competition over axle pipes and race x-pipe exhaust in the marketplace. Best sounding Spyder possible IMO. Aggressive, no valves. Yes it can drone. Sounds as good as my friends GT3RS with aftermarket headers and exhaust.

Thanks John I am excited to hear more!

Quick question. I see what I believe to be three different back box solutions for the 718 4.0L. there is the minimalist race X pipe with no valve which is pretty straightforward. But I am confused on if the other two on your website are actually different. There is the “valved exhaust system” and then the “sport package” which at first looks like the “valved exhaust system” + OAP’s, but closer inspection of the pictures on the site show different valve placement and slightly different piping.

Are these last two back boxes actually different products? The descriptions are pretty much identical. If so which one are you updating to a second version?

Thanks!

You have a very keen eye haha. On top of the product release for the forums and our customer list, we are in the middle of processing photos of the new versions of the muffler replacements and updating our website. What you see on the Valved Exhaust System product page is our new system, we just haven't made it over to the Sport Package page yet and updated those photos of the Valved Exhaust System combined with our OAPs. Be prepared to see some visual discrepancies out there on our website and shops we work with during the transition

Regards,
John Gaydos

Question for those who have the Soul OAPs with the Jet Hot ceramic coating. Can anyone tell me if they’ve got the Soul logos on the sides after they were treated with Jet Hot ceramic? Thinking of going with Soul OAPs w/ Jet Hot but would prefer them logo-less if that’s an option. I’ve narrowed it down to 3 with Soul at the top followed by JCR (crazy expensive) and then Fabspeed. Thanks to anyone who can provide some feedback.

You can request that logos are not added, and good choice IMO.

My SOUL Resonated Ceramic-Coated OAP's. There were NO SOUL logos. And I didn't request "no logos." That's how they arrived. YMMV.

Thanks for the info Bob. I will reach out to them next week. Pretty sure it’s Soul I’m going with and will probably add the street headers and valved back box also once I get a few more miles on the car.

Guys,

Well we shall see who is the 1st that gets a set of the New V2 version ................

I was hoping it might very well be me but it doesn't look good for that happening.

You can request them without logos, we have done them for clients.

First one had to leave with the R&D car, only fair haha. Number 2 though, that’s a different story 👍

To those considering SOUL exhaust,

My thoughts as well as those that have personally ridden in my 2021 Cayman GT4 for Hours and hours as well as Hundreds and hundreds of miles.

Speaking of my SOUL, OAP W/Ceramic Coating, SOUL, rear-valved-muffler, SOUL, Sound-Symposer Delete and Cargraphics-Valve-Controller components.

https://rennlist.com/forums/718-gts-...l#post19042437

I hope that those that read the above find it useful as that's my intent.

Raising this thread from the dead.

Has anyone fitted the v2 setup?
I havent even seen a video on the new system yet, and Im curious what the changes made produces in both pitch/tone. It would seem like they're just letting their back-box portion on 718's go to the wayside.
