I don't think many people will do this because the scoop will say GT4 and obviously that won't look right on a Spyder.

Easy enough to have the "GT4" filled prior to painting. 981 Spyder owners did this, so I imagine it's only a matter of time

Agreed, a Spyder is not a GT4...

Although not Gentian Blue, it is a blue that is similar...

This is how 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 should have looked, with or without the side scoops. Is this a 981 or a 718?

The truth is that I’m going to be 63 next year and I probably won’t do anything to change my soon to be delivered Spyder... but that doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t have if I was younger.
I grew up watching as just about everyone older made some kind of mod to their cars and I followed with performance and cosmetic changes to mine.
I’ll always applaud a owner that makes any kind of change, whether It was along my tastes or not.
It was proof to my eyes that the owner cared about his car.

Interestingly when I had finished with all of the work to my GTS and debuted it at our local Cars and Coffee that was a comment I heard many times, "... that how the GTS should have been delivered by Porsche..."

This was my 2016 (981) Boxster GTS, I traded it for the Spyder I have now.
