when was your original delivery scheduled for pre-covid?

Check out GT3NY's post on the "show your build" thread. He went with Chalk and did the extended dashboard package as well as the steering column. You can't see the steering column, but you can see a bit of the dashboard. My local Porsche dealer was also able to send me a couple pics before the car left today although they're not very good lol.

Exactly what I thought! I was happy when they told me. They (dealer) thought I'd be disappointed lol. I was like, nope! Better in many ways...ensure i've not had a pay cut or worse, lose my job and as you said save more $ till then!

Going back to the original topic... do we have confirmation that the factories are now back online?

I believe the latest is that the factories will re-open sometime this coming week starting on Monday (27th) as the shutdown was extended by a week due to supply chain issues. We'll see if that holds and from what I've been told, the build schedules we all have are likely to change (for the better) once production starts up again as dealer orders are pushed to the back/cancelled while customer cars are moved to the front of the line. This is the case with Canadian orders at least, not sure if PCNA is doing the same for the US allocations. It sounded like the updates we've been seeing these last few weeks during the shutdown is just the internal system automatically updating and pushing out dates as checkpoints are not met. Expectation is that someone will go about fixing the actual schedule with these updates soon or early next week. I know that our local dealer showroom car was pushed to the fall while the handful of customer allocations are still projecting a summer 2020 delivery.

The 27th is for the GT4 while the Spyder was the 20th due to different factories. (Osnabruck vs. Zuffenhausen.

That was the case, but an earlier update this week is now indicating that Porsche has also pushed out to next week due to supply chain: https://europe.autonews.com/automake...eopening-dates (citing from this German link:https://www.automobilwoche.de/articl...ht-produzieren)

Porsche will keep its plants in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen and Leipzig, both in Germany, closed until April 27 due to supply disruptions.

Ok good to know. I'll wait until the end of next week / early the following week to ask my SA for an update on my GT4 schedule.

I've also been told that customer orders will take priority once things start back up again. Hopefully that'll help get our cars here sooner. I wonder how long it will take to get revised schedules once things do open up?

thank you, this forum is so useful. I will get more information from my salesman next week. No change in dates so far for me. Waiting for V260 date.

3 GT4 cars have been delivered in Canada. 2 in Toronto and 1 in BC. Funny they are all white. Maybe they build them all the same colour first?

NP, lots of tidbits scattered throughout the web including updates to pages vs. new posts so it's getting hard to follow. Hopefully this is the last week we need to update/keep track of and the factories reopen next week.

Hope all of us with builds in the system get some positive news in the next week or two. Been frustrating to see posts with unsold inventory sitting on the lot while the rest of us have been patiently waiting for months/years. I've been bugging my dealer about the 718 GT4 since 2017...I'm sure he can't wait for mine to arrive so I can stop bothering him haha.
