Thinking about it if available. What can be done in 2-3 days?

Trying to do it. No confirmation yet
This is an itch I need to scratch!
If confirmed, I'll need help to build an agenda so I can track a bit, autobahn and make my wife happy at the same time... not easy.

Of priority interest given time constraints would be factory, museum, mountain passes and autobahn driving. The Ring would require a bit more time I think to have some real fun at it.

Can I get to good mountain passes rather easily while staying in Zuffenhausen? Or would I have to stay somewhere else. Names of the ones I've seen videos of are escaping me.

That should be easy....drop off at shopping, museums, restaurants. If she wants company, how about a group tour?

I haven't broken the news that I am buying the car. Then I am travelling a few times for work before build date and have quite young kids. So my odds of it being acceptable that I take this factory delivery is slim. Hence trying to see how I can make 2 days fly before I present such an idea.

not a whole lot in 2-3 days. depends on the time of the year too. passes usually closed into June. i suggest at least a week.

not really feasible for a day trip. its about 6 hour drive to stelvio from stuttgart without traffic and in summer months there is always traffic. the best passes are in austria and northern italy. also highly dependent on when you go. the alps are cold! if the winter is cold enough they can be closed into July.

Not confirmed- requested by dealership. So I will wait for official confirmation and if affirmed I will repost.

You should have a PCNA handler for your european delivery scheduling by now then. June is already pretty much completely booked. For a June delivery you would have a March build car. possibly early April. whats your order status for the car?

I haven't requested, told sales guy I'm thinking about it. Saw your other post, didn't realize ED date is that much further out from build date. By your post an April build would have late June or July ED. If that were the case car wouldn't get back here until August sometime which is late summer.

If above is correct, I'm not sure it's worthwhile to do ED for only 2-3 days. Loose all that driving time here in the first year.

Although this is blasphemy on a Porsche forum, if you're in Stuttgart, the Mercedes Benz museum is a must see - and honestly superior to the Porsche museum. The history behind their engineering and the way they display it is absolutely incredible.

...and remember, if you want a Porsche FACTORY tour (different than just a museum pass) you need to book it way out in advance.

Simply email them for availability, especially if you want to listen to the tour in English - factorytours@porsche.de

...and here's what you can expect if you do get to the passes...
