Part of that delay is the MY23 certification which is expected by end of Aug for all 50 states. So additional delays are still possible. I originally had a 7-12 ED date.

All of our first batch non VIPs should have been MY22. Porsche decided to change out the model years in order to raise the MSRP? And now we have to wait an additional 2 months? Why don't they just change back to MY22 and make their best non vip customers happy?

Even VIPs have been affected by this. One even posted on RL.

Question about the car, is the common consensus that exposed carbon fiber NEEDS ppf?

It will get damaged just like a painted surface if you do not protect it, your choice!

I don’t mind touch up paint on painted surfaces. I don’t like ppf normally but I don’t want to ruin a hood or mirror. I’m assuming at minimum if damage was significant it would need a clear coat respray.

If I ever had a car with a set of CF mirrors and a CF hood, PPF for sure, properly applied it provides incredible protection and is virtually invisible.

What are the chances a 718 GT4 exhaust will fit on the GT4 RS?

it won’t. They have pictures on the website and the oap mounted in a different way to the exhaust itself.

Oh, sorry I was also referring to the OAP. So from header back?

Isn't the engine facing a different direction than the standard GT4? If so, how would the bends /lengths of the current OAP pipes be the same?

No...it''s 180 degree flip from the 911. They can't change that between GT4 and 4RS....transmission will always be at the back of the engine.
The headers are also different, look a bit better than the ones on the GT4.
The OAP are completely new with secondary O2 sensor just before the GPF and the rear muffler has a single entry and then splits (muffler does look identical outside to the one on the GT4)...the GT4 has the split at the GPF.
