The primary TB on the intake plenum is facing up on the new airbox...on the GT4 it's facing back.
And if you left the engine as is from the GT3 it would have been facing to the front.

If they do like BMW does on the carbon roofs, they don't have a clear coat, just a bit of the resin that can be damaged very easy...ask me how I know!
PPF, and the thick one, would be a smart choice on all CF areas

That's what I meant to think/post...not enough coffee today. Either way, different layout.

100% its a nightmare with the exposed CF carbon roofs on the BMW's if they get any chips. I would recommend PPF at a minimum on any of the 4RS carbon pieces and maybe even double PPF it.

Sheesh, I got an M4 I have tracked 40+ times, I mean ran that thing into the actual ground and had a 991.23rs....Guys, these things are consumables, depreciating assets. The roof on my M4 is more than fine, no PPF anywhere on that car. Gt3rs with just a lower bumper film was more than enough, without would have been fine too. Rock chips are what they are
Drive the cars, use them, they are not works of art, they are cars.....I mean JEEZ and wow...
this wrapping cars in plastic has gotten so out of control lol

I use my cars a lot....and our track requires PPF...unless you want to paint the front every 2-3 years.
On our M3 ZCP roof the problem was bird poop. Less than 1 day at the sun and off a 1 cent diameter of the resin came off. It's not just rocks.
Also...PPF down here is OK price wise and when it's time to sell you do get more $$$$... if you have a car full of paint chips and battle scars is harder to sell...unless you plan to keep it of course.

A few damp sections - he was being careful - the H GP circuit is a better reflection of what the car can do. There he did 1:45.8 in the 992.1 GT3 (winged) Vs 1:47.6 in the GT4 RS and 1:51.0 in the 992 GT3 Touring - he is a good driver. As a reference point he did 1:53.9. in a 718 GT4.
