I'm thinking more of a configuration bug they need to fix. That's what I can only get my head around why so much more. Similar to you cannot select PTS or WP in the config. A bug.

On the main Porsche main site, after selecting 718 GT4RS, the page loads for the model, but no text, nor pics load, using firefox. Loads using Edge, but get some errors as others.

No. Not one mention about the workings of the engine by AP or any the Porsche brash. Please remember, I'm a Cayman guy - have not spent 1 minute reading about GT3s. All I know is it goes to 9,000 rpms and has much more expense internals (because many people on this thread said Porsche would not put a GT3 engine in a GT4RS because it is too expensive). What makes it expensive, what makes it a race engine - is it the same engine used in the GT3R race car??

I found a cut away of the engine. You can see the main throttle valve just under the air filter and you can see the individual valve low down the intake.

How does this even make sense? This car is a beautiful vehicle, and it's a great option starting at $140k but when it's priced at $250-300k what sense does it make? This is getting out of hands lol

That's what money-is-no-object customers look like. They have the means to burn $100k+ on a markup without a second thought because they don't wanna wait and it doesn't put any kind of dent in their net worth. Lot of those people are in LA and Bay Area.

Paying that kind of money for these cars doesn't make sense at all from a value perspective but from a time and exclusivity perspective for a 'whale' it makes perfect sense.

The more I look the more I think the Weissach package is a waste of money. There are no weight savings unless you get the wheels, it's purely cosmetic.

The race-tex dashboard is cool but for that kind of money it's an insane option to pick.

The Weissach package is effectively a $13k Tax/ADM if you want PTS or Mag wheels. They really should reconsider, lots of people prefer not to have all that exposed carbon.
