Hahaha well to be fair, he did say there were 5k in "extras" that may have been required as part of the deal. More importantly, he had a quality trade in that the dealer is going to make some coin on. Still a very solid deal, but just some points to consider in the grand scheme of things.

I think the true "unicorn" deals are MSRP with no extras required and no history with the dealer. I assume you'd have to be local to the dealer to sniff that in today's market.

I must have close to a unicorn. I will take possession of a GTS 4.0 soon. MSRP, as agreed. Never had a signed agreement. Totally verbal. Great relationship with my SA. I did buy a bridge 991.2 from them, and do our service there so maybe that had a part. Dunno. Very happy to be close to finally getting my 718 and major kudos to the dealer for honoring the deal. I WILL buy more cars from them, and will willingly give them my trades. Relationships count....

Just got contacted by a dealer with another MSRP allocation for BGTS4.0. My current one has been delayed from June delivery now to August delivery. Still 2022, but who knows if that holds... New one is for September build, Oct/Nov delivery, so obviously a 2023. No history with either dealer and no waitlist deposits with either. Just contacted them back in December.

Actually wondering what to do, I hope the first allocation gets built. Probably does not make sense to hedge and double order in these circumstances... maybe should ask for discount from MSRP?

BGTS4.0 compared to GT4/Spyder allocations are a different animal along with different ADM's...

Maybe. Two months ago another dealer wanted $30k ADM for one.

No 718 allocations in Canada this last round AFAIK. Maybe June.

Haha, I am car blind when it comes to a ME Ferrari. 458/488/F8 all looks the same to me….

COVID, supply chain, sinking ship, Ukraine, end of ICE.

More importantly, FOMO.

If the stock market takes a huge dive, I won’t be surprised people will drop out and ADM might start going down, even away. You never know.

Someone mentioned buying a Rolex earlier. Even the grey prices are softening currently. IMO, we are starting to come down from the peak of the bubble.

My local dealership just got a Cayman GTS 4.0 allocation in. Redwood City Porsche in California. 15k ADM. I declined on it since i got a GT4 allocation but maybe its still there? They dont have many people on their list (or so he says)

Appears our guesses are off LOL. Pfaff stated June/July, so perhaps nothing is coming for May allocations after all in Canada. Waiting really does suck.
