While breaking into the 9s was a huge achievement, it also prematurely ended erikchich’s track day. Unfortunately, pesky NHRA safety rules dictate certain types of equipment for certain E.T. ranges. But that obviously wasn’t enough to dampen the mood here. And it just goes to show you that Porsches are good for far more than just carving up corners. With a little bit of work, they can also head straight to the drags and outrun even purpose built straight-line mavericks!
