1971 Porsche 911T

Considering well this 911 has been maintained, you’d swear it drove out of a time machine.

The Porsche 911 is a true classic. When the general public pictures a Porsche, more than likely they have images of the 911 in their head. While the design has changed quite a bit over the years, there’s something special and unmistakable about the 911. So, when a beautiful 1971 911T comes to our attention, we feel its our obligation to share it with the Porsche aficionados on this site.

Classic Cars recently listed a 1971 Porsche 911T. Sure, this car is far from the most exciting Porsche we have showcased on the website, but this 911 is one of those cars that any true Porsche collector would be pleased to have in their collection. It’s said that just under 11,000 1971 911T’s were originally built during that production run, and a fair percentage of those didn’t survive. That automatically makes this 911T a vehicle that is rare and sought-after.

The true reason we’re showcasing this car, however, is the history and upkeep. This 911T is a vehicle that was loved by its previous owners. In fact, the original owner had this vehicle up until a few years ago. It doesn’t get much easier than that to trace the history, when you only have a couple owners of a 46-year-old car. And because it was cared for by the same owner for decades, this car is a beauty. The interior and exterior look great, with the paint looking pretty much brand new. Make no mistake, this is a car that is dressed to impress the day you pick it up.

This 1971 911T won’t win many races. It also won’t turn as many heads as the most wild supercar on the road. However, the 911 is a true classic, and you can never go wrong with that.
