Repurposed the spot for the Fader **** to control the volume/Xover of my Sub.

Bought a new ****, rose and plastic nut from Roger, trimmed down the existing Fader mechanism, mounted a piece of Velcro to it (secured with a washer and some superglue), put Velcro on the **** on the sub control, slipped some Velcro under the carpet to mount the controller underneath and wallah. Looks stock but controls something modern

So your sub or sub amp came with a remote volume control? I really wanted to just rewire my fader to do that, but my sub amp has no such built-in capability, unfortunately.

Removed the brake master cylinder and cleaned the brake fluid reservoir. Installed the new MC, then the fluid reservoir. Per Stan's recommendations I put a thin coating of Corning 111 lube on the O-ring between MC and booster, and on the grommets in the MC and on the barbed pipes on the bottom of the reservoir - which made installation easy.

Josh...I see your car also suffered from at least one tire shop or owner that thought they were jacking on frame rails. Then...after seeing the crushing results...did it some more. Mine looks pretty much the same. Nobody will ever see the smashed rails, but I want to fix them anyway. Can't stand looking them...they say "dumb@$$ was here".

Changed the spark plugs, the old ones were NGK with about 15K miles.
Got some Bosch Copper Plus to replace the worn out plugs.

So, after the New plug install, I took the shark for a test run. I was actually surprised to here the tires chirp when it shifted to 2nd, (it's an auto w/LSD),I wasn't even WOT.
I also changed the heater valve WIWIT.

Just the standard fixing the 27 year old stuff. Wrestled the crossmember in. New opg, motor mounts, fixed some ugly wiring, and many hot hours of cleaning. Just waiting for a rack, then new inner and outer ends. The top and bottom of this lump better damn well be done for a bit now!

Yeah my rails suck. They're mashed and wavy, totally sucks. Floor boards in the rear are popped in a little at the rear outside corners too. "Dumb@$$" is being kind. I clean with a mixture of simple green and tears, 50/50. I was planning on getting an estimate for floor/rail repair when I do paint. Was thinking I might try to pop them out by drilling/slide hammer, but then, I can't weld the holes back in, so that's out. Was hoping it's not a safety issue, I read the frame runs under the doors, not the center rails, but I could be wrong and that's for another thread I suppose. Definitely gonna get some opinions on it though.

Nevertheless I did some more detail cleaning under there last night. Removed all the fuel line brackets, brake line clips and the power cable wire and it's clips.

Changed the fluid in my auto trans, and the filter. 1st time I used the quick connect filler tool, what a piece of cake to refill the trans. No mess either.

Replaced my leaky o-ring in the fuel cooler. It was mashed and torn in two, so no surprise it was leaking. Put it all back together, pulled a vacuum, and it held...for a bit. But after about two hours, I was down from almost 30 in-Hg to 20 in-Hg. Not good enough. ARRGGHHH....

It can't be first time that someone has said this, but I just drove her (as I do quite often). She likes it!
