Sorry for dumb question but is Crystal Ray next possible boat to San Diego? I’m in SoCal and my car got to Emden on the 27th.

Marin. You were in Fremont IIRC, right? Hopefully you see your car soon.

That's what's listed on the Glovis shipping schedule, but the ship has missed its scheduled mooring date in Emden by days and is still sitting in the UK. In the meantime, there have been 5-6 ships through the VAG area at Emden, but it's unclear if any are headed to San Diego, and I've yet to receive a notification that my car has been loaded.

I think we are on the same boat, figuratively, and hopefully soon, literally.

Gotcha. Looks like if we miss Crystal then Glovis Caravel is the next one? Or are there other boats that go to SoCal?

Hopefully Crystal Ray is just late and makes its way to Emden in the next few days, because the next San Diego-bound boat isn't till the end of June.

VAG boats don't dock in LA. Socal cars get dropped off in San Diego.

Default Wild rose leader

Good morning all,

Our car is on the wild rose leader that was expected to go to Benicia. Seems that it is now routed to SD.

Is there a chance that they unload all cars at the SD stop and then drive them up? Or do we expect there will be two stops for cars headed to Seattle?

Just trying to plan flights etc. for pick up.

From what I've seen, the ships contracted by VAG will make a stop in San Diego followed by Benicia a day or two later.

Is it possible SoCal customers are on the Cronus Leader?

I saw Porsche uses Roros and when I search this site (https://www.nykroro.com/customer/schedules/) I get the Cronus as departing Emden on 6/3 and arriving in San Diego on 6/29.

I'm not sure, but I believe that VAG uses the loading areas just to the west of where Cronus Leader is moored now. More importantly, I think they use Hyundai Glovis for shipping -- not sure about NYK. Someone with more knowledge on shipping would have to tell us.

@Marin Vizsla had posted VW Auto Group has been utilizing NYK as a secondary shipping line more frequently in addition to Glovis. Hopefully that's helpful to other west coast folks. Perhaps Cronus will be the near-term boat for some of us.

Did anyone else on Freesia Leader just get a huge pushback on their Delivery Date? From the ship-tracking websites/coordinates from the TYD hack, the ship appears to be on track, and still slated to get to Panama on 6/13(and SD on 6/22). However my TYD Porsche Center arrival date just got pushed back from 6/24 to 7/6! Anyone else seeing something similar?

I've got some time away coming away, that might coincide with the car being delivered, so trying to plan ahead a little here.
I'm on RCc Compass, https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/details/9441611, which is now enroute to Panama now. It is currently sticking to it's posted schedule and is expected to be in San Diego on 6/18. My TYD, however, shows it arriving at port on June 12th and to the dealer on June 16. I suspect I know the answer, but realistically, doesn't look like I'll be getting the car before June 22nd or so St this stage.
How's everyone's experience been with the estimated date of arrival at Port vs the shipping schedule?
