Wondering if I should cut my losses and get something local.
Just to update the thread here. Got a notification that my C2S finally left the port after 5 months in Emden.
My dealer management kept escalating daily and contacted the port directly. For anyone still stuck, suggest to do the same.

My car arrived in SD on Saturday afternoon, and TYD did not show that it had left the port until this morning(Friday). However, in actuality, my dealership confirmed that the car had arrived at their door on Wednesday evening! Point being, TYD is far from being the real-time tracker that it appears to be. My SA openly stated that PCNA and dealerships will be doing everything they can to move cars by eod Sunday (end of month/quarter), so good luck! I’m slated to pick mine up today!

If that's the case then i'm unsure why my car couldnt be loaded on the earlier boat. It was at the port when that ship docked and as i stated above it had arrived earlier than estimated. Oh well. At this point i've lost all tracking of the Daisy Leader as its going through the atlantic right now so unsure the process. Vesselfinder.com still claims that theres about 30 days till it hits Hueneme Port but i'm unsure how accurate their tracker is or if the ETA can vary by a week or so.

There's no rhyme or reason (that we know of) about which cars get boarded onto which ships. There are anecdotes about cars getting loaded onto a ship a day after they arrive at Emden, and others about cars that have sat for 5-6 months.

As for Daisy Leader, we'll start seeing it again once it gets to within 70 miles of Recife, Brazil sometime this week.

Congrats on getting your car so quickly from the local port.

My personal anecdotal experience with both ports is that SD is one of the faster ones and Benicia is one of the slower ones (my last car took 1.5 months to leave Benicia, while my last SD car was at the dealer within 5 days). Will be great if Porsche addresses the issues at Benicia.

And right on time, Daisy Leader is once again visible on terrestrial AIS off the coast of Brazil. It is now officially in the southern hemisphere and has crossed the Atlantic.

Looks like the Crystal Ray dropped anchor in Panama this morning. Can anyone view the ship's forward-looking schedule and timeline?

I'm late to this thread, very much like the Daisy Leader to the West Coast. I'm no Marco Polo, but it also dawned on me yesterday that the ship with my car on it is taking the loooooong way around and thanks to this thread it's confirmed. I wonder if it will unload in San Diego, or in Hueneme (which is about 30 miles from where I live). Anywho, good luck to everyone waiting, and congrats to those enjoying their cars. Happy Independence Day to those in the U.S.A, and to the Americans living abroad 🇺🇸.

It's stopping at Heuneme first, where I'm guessing it will unload a bunch of BMWs. Porsche doesn't process any cars at Hueneme, so I hope it'll go to San Diego afterwards, though it's odd that it's skipping SD and going straight to Hueneme -- probably due to how its load of cars is configured (meaning the San Diego-bound cars are blocked in by the Hueneme cars -- not sure).

Just got the email to schedule PEC LA pickup for the BGTS on Glovis Caravel, scheduled for Sept 6.

9 month wait, 5 hours for delivery, 4 people and instructors... There's no storks involved here, right?

I don't know why they chose to make the Daisy Leader take such a long route. The Crystal Ray passed through the Panama Canal within a matter of days so the rumor of it wanting to skip that queue seems unfounded. If it's true that Porsche don't process any cars at Hueneme then it means I'm not seeing my car till end of August which is almost a month and a half over my original ETA.

Crystal Ray is on the move. Projecting 7/15 arrival in San Diego. Hopefully means 7/20 or so for pickup for us L.A. folks.
