I love this model, and want something 1985 or newer! It doesn't have to be in perfect condition, but it has to drive and be in a condition where I can fix whatever is wrong with it without breaking the bank.

That color of blue is so gorgeous. Thank you very much for the response! I couldn't see the inside too well, but it looked like it had been stripped down to just have racing equipment in there. Is that right? If so, I am looking for a daily driver for myself. Congrats on the new born baby though!
I has been my intention to keep my 1986 944 Base through the summer, and then sell it to migrate to a Cayman, next winter. Just ticked over to 137,000 miles.
I guess that I would entertain moving it on more rapidly.
Mine is a 944 that has been kept in pretty much Porsche OEM condition, excepting replacing the radio with an Alpine head unit. AC is amazing, and has been converted to R134a. Instrument lights refurbished per Clark's Garage, with LED bulbs. Cloth script seats. Script door handles. OEM late stock phone dials.
Belts and water pump professionally replaced January, 2015. 4,000 miles put on the car since then.
Mobil 1 15W-50 in engine and Swepco 201 in transaxle, replaced 6/2015.
Rear hatch frame professionally resealed 5/2015.
New rear hatch seals and door seals, 6/2105
AOS seals replaced, injectors cleaned and refurbed, new silicone vacuum lines, intake cleaned and painted, round throttle cam installed 8/2015
Koni yellow adjustable struts
Clutch replaced with Sachs OEM metal core unit @ 80,000 miles.
New DME installed ~4 years ago, 944MAX DME chip installed 6/2015

$6,000 would get the car with full set of Yokohama snow tires and new in box 4 x brake rotors and pads, uninstalled.
I am selling my 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo. The car is Black with a Burgundy interior and has approximately 90k miles. The car has had extensive work done on it in the past few years and is now a nice example of an 87 944 turbo. The car shows to have had multiple owners, one of which owned the car for 15 years. The car is far from perfect, but mechanically and cosmetically it is very nice. Please remember that this is a 27-year-old car and it will show some signs of aging, but we do our very best to describe our cars in detail, so that the potential buyer will know what they are getting. Below is a list of the recent things that have been done to the car over the past 2 years and we will be glad to talk to anyone wanting additional information on the car. 11-15-2011: Front Bumper, Header panel and Rear Diffuser were painted for cracking.
2-16-2012: The entire front of the vehicle was painted due to slight damage to the left front fender.
2-26-2012: A/C compressor was replaced due to failure.
4-24-2012: Timing Belt service was done, including all belts, tensioners and rollers. work done @ Autobahn Porsche.
5-21-2014: Timing Belt retention & replacement of the Front Crank Seal & O-ring. work done @ Autobahn Porsche
