Response to member comments:
Thanks for taking a look at my car and commenting.
Before pricing it I compiled a comprehensive overview of every '97-'98 c2 and c4 cab now for sale or sold in the U.S. in 2015, in every color, with and without manual transmissions.
My car is in great shape and has already had its expensive 60k service and runs great. I've driven and babied it since 2001. So, I market priced my car to sell given its specs and condition. I hope to find someone who can enjoy it as much as I do. I am happy to share my pricing homework, but only to potentially interested and serious folks. Thanks again for taking the time to reach out.

Ltechneir. I make living solely selling air-cool Porsches for many years now and I can tell you with 100% certainty that your car is about $40k-$45k overpriced. It's not to put your car down in any way.. It's a nice cab.. But definitely will not sell anywhere near your what you are asking. I can only assume that you made a big mistake in your price research and are comparing your 993 4 model to the 993 4S model. That little "S" on the end makes a hell of a difference in price, and no 4S Cabriolets were ever made. That said, I wish you get all the money in the world for your car.. After all, every deal stand on its own.. But I would probably stay away from telling the world that your price is justified by similar models on the market. That sir is very inaccurate. Cheers

Gentlemen:
Thanks for the advice. I do know the distinction between the 4S coupe and the AWD convertible. So that is not the difference.
Maybe there is a misunderstanding by the dealer between wholesale and private. I would suggest that if anyone can buy a '98 AWD cab with a stick for $50K, go rush out and buy it.
For those interested, there were only approx. #143 C4 Cabs and #1059 C2 Cabs sold in the US in 1998 with various transmissions. There are now seven 1998 AWD Cabs for sale with manual transmissions and my car is priced less than the other six because of the mileage, which I know is concerning to some except that since its 60k service the car runs beautifully. Mine is only one of two all black cars and the other has 2000 miles on it and a offering price of $185k. There are about #16 '98 RWD Cabs with sticks that are being offered for a range from $60k-85K, with most clustered on the mid $70k range.
There are a number of 97 RWD Cabs with manual transmissions priced in the high $50k range, with some higher and a '96 RWD cab with a stick that just came on the market at over $100k.)
Also, the comparison spreadsheet I have is comprehensive, with real offer prices on real cars currently on the market.
As I said in my earlier post, I am fine having a serious discussion with a potential buyer and sharing more of my data. I have a great late model 993, well equipped, with limited production numbers and am willing to entertain offers from an interested party.
In the meanwhile, have at it in these posts. I will try to respond when appropriate and will welcome talking to anyone who wants to engage.
Thanks for being interested in helping me.

Friend, the proof is in the pudding. This may be the eminent 993 board on the Internet. Many here are true experts on all things 993. You would be wise to listen to reason, and realize that if you have several people telling you the same thing, you might want to re-think things.
Then again, you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink.
Put another way, if your car was well-priced, it would have already sold.
Good luck
