I don’t see the comparison, other than they’re both white and black lol However, it did have a bunch of people around it at the show. Different strokes, different folks there some people that don’t like either lucid or taycan.

Plus, they’re fast as heck quicker than the turbo taycan

Most EVs are quicker than they ever need to be. What matters and will matter going forward is how well they hide the weight (until battery tech improves) and how well they handle and steer, which are the two things they typically do poorly. The Taycan is exceptional in this respect... by all accounts, Lucid has done a very good job there as well, especially on the Saphire. So good job there. Beauty being inherently subjective on the individual level, I can't account for what you see in this car, but I have seen many Lucids on the road and they look big, garish and to my eye quite ugly. Obviously, we all see the world through different eyes, though there are some cars that are more universally lauded for their looks than others. I'd take the Camry all day.

“I'd take the Camry all day.”
I have to admit that I think the current Toyota/Lexus design ‘language’ is terrible, and that Camry looks like a bland sedan trying to look ‘exciting’ with an awful add-on body kit.
The Lucid on the other hand is, imho, a beautiful, flowing design that is also extremely functional. I’ve now seen about three up close and they look even better than in pictures; again imho.
Rawlinson and his team of engineers have built an incredible product; let’s hope it can survive their current financial situation.

I'm with you re: both Lucid and Toyota styling.

Back in 2014 I drove it up to Portland for the Buick Club of America National Meet. Entered it for judging and got 294 of 300 points - which earned it a "Senior Gold" award. A few points lost were legit, a couple from not detailing it to perfection after two days on the road and rain...

Drove the single motor version yesterday. Very quiet and peppy. Lucid representative said it weighs 6,000 lbs! Very large interior. Turning circle was impressive and should make parking easier. My only complaint is the low roofline and the seat position makes egress more difficult for me. Taycan is not easy for me either.
