Rose joints are metal-on-metal joints that can be substituted for the normal rubber bushing.

In a regular car, you toss it into a corner and all the rubber bits in the suspension have to load up. Swap those for rose joints and you get less play, more stiffness; you also yet better road feel.

That's the simple explanation.

rubber on the left; no rubber on the right. not the best example but you get the idea.

Big increase in NVH without the rubber.

Price definitely. Longevity could be better, as rubber bushings can lose their integrity after a few years of thermal cycling.

They also stiffen the ride and the steering. Not something the average commuter wants.

ah!

good point. but on the GT2RS pic it seems it is the front axle. and those sensors for light leveling (mandatory within EU and xenon/led) i know just located at the rear axle. but not sure at 911s.

Now we just need to know 3RS's spring rates.

Sign me up. Just called the dealership and the 675LT is gone. For that money I want a brand new car. I hope I can get it since I haven't heard much on allocations.

Interesting anchor point for anti-roll bar. Wonder what the small linkage circled in red is for??

Yup, one of the first suspension mods I made for track use was to get stiffer springs on the GT4 and RS as they were too soft (especially the fronts). Great upgrade that made the cars more stable under hard braking and quick transition corners.
