Got the call today, No GT2 RS for me. Dealer received less GT2 RS allocations than 911R allocations. Materials were pure unobtainium for me.

First time I have been disappointed with AP. I quoted his I have a Dream speech - "everyone who wants one can get one" speech from Goodwood earlier this year, that turned out to be a mistake.

BTW, signature updated to ensure accuracy.

Still love the Porsche, some days are just harder than others.

Do you honestly believe the first round of allocations is the last?

I have no idea. I am not a speculator. The only info right or wrong I have from the two dealers I know well is that they both believe this is it. Again, I have no idea. Don't shoot the messenger!

Yeah, everyone who wants will get one....what a joke. Different car, same old BS trying to get an allocation at MSRP. I'm just glad I had zero interest in this car and the R.

^Honestly. This car is quite $$$$$$. If Porsche turns a blind eye from those individuals who are willing to drop the coin, it would be financial ruin.. Typically individuals who have that type of cash flow don't wait around for excuses.. they move on quickly. Porsche will suffer in the long run and I would hope they actually build for those who want one.

Meh, Game Theory 101: Always maximize ADM on current allocations by expressing belief that no more allocations are coming. As more allocations come, "surprise" customers by telling them how lucky they've been to receive an allocation when none were expected. Rinse, repeat.

Would you order one from a California dealer if it were offered to you at MSRP?

And If you needed to ship it, you would be willing to pay shipping?

So, do you think you were just too far down the list for it to be possible to get one in your dealer's eyes, or were you next in line and they're sure they're not getting anymore?

Talk of allocations/$ aside, what's the earliest known delivery date for this car?
