Nate, are you trying to get me divorced? :-) Keep finding cars out in my coast.

I am relatively close to this gem (within 2 hr drive) if anyone wants me to see it in person. Let me know-Hoi

And it's coming to Austin. Could be interesting in the near future.

I have quite a few customers down there as there seems to be only one place that can work on them. Unfortunately for them i'm booked up months ahead of time right now so even if he wanted to, it would be late fall.

'79 parts car in NY state: https://binghamton.craigslist.org/ct...224465527.html

The interior is... Well, out, I guess, it's got a crap respray (blue? over gold), and the PO cut a hole for a sunroof (*sigh*). But, it's been stored inside, it's cheap ask which would surely go lower ($1,800), and it's got early sport seats which look not too bad.

Classic 9 is currently re-doing the front seats seats. The 85mph speedo shows 91k. I just dropped the tank and cleaned it, new filters, changed the oil, plugs and the injectors are about to go to Witch Hunter. Factory Bilsteins and springs, new clutch, it shifts well as all the ball caps seem to be Ok. Still more work to do. It needs work, I would call it rolling project. The paint appears to be original, clear coat is pealing on the roof. Rear tires are new, the fronts are a few years old. ( Yokohama's) I would like to get $7k for it. 5sp no sunroof, no rub strips, decent color combo. somewhat low mileage, new front seats. Pod is cracked in the center and the dash has crack or some sort of burn mark.
Thats a nice car . Should sell quickly at that price .

Yeah. Oddly, the leather dash looks pretty good. If I had the room, I'd tell the guy I was coming up with $500 cash and a trailer and that I'd take it away if it was only as craptastic as it looks. No pics of the engine bay, and judging by the pics of the interior, I have to assume that it's a complete hellscape.

So no dash or carpet or door panels . Fresh paint can get for $700.00 + shipping $550.00 but has branded title ? If it wasnt for shipping I would scoop it up . What do you guys think? I'm a little nervous because of salvage title .

Ha! You usually are way ahead of the rest of us on these. I'm kinda surprised that you didn't reply with a report from a conversation you had with the seller the day before he decided to list it.

Early bird gets the worm ! I miss more then you know.... You guys laugh at the ones I buy . I hate when people part them out so I get them running . The 84 I sold was such a good car , should have kept it .

The seats look more like aftermarked recaro seats. Never seen this in a 928.

This car should be on mobile.de it would probably go quickly. Spoilers were probably dealer added in Germany...I heard that they would do it for free if you asked or complained about high speed lift. I had an early car that got this treatment and it was done correctly...updated quarter window seals, trim, brake ducts, etc.

Radio is correct type but is a replacement unit, says blaupunkt on the cassette door, not PORSCHE
