Seller is claiming all cars over 10 years old in Arizona get a branded title.
This is completely false.
My '85 308 came from Arizona
My '87 Grand National went to Arizona
The other 86.5 928 on BaT right now came from Arizona.
None of them have branded titles.
This guy is full of s**t

The question is whether we call
this out on the auction.

I made a comment on it, but BaT has been reviewing my comments ever since I trashed the 356 auction.
They're not letting anything negative I say go through.

I was going to call him out on it too, since my Weissach #155 that was sold on BaT was from Arizona and never got a branded title. What Sean said made alot of sense, since the dealer-mechanic also had to do the heads/valves.

Interesting that it has 1989 GT Forged Club Sports on it. What state is this one located in Jarrod?

Come on now Lee, we would all love to rescue and recommission as many as we could especially 1978 manual models. But the cost to do either one of those two would be astronomical in time and money. Im on my third rescued 1978, but they were 100% better then these two and its still a time and financial ordeal. But I love driving them and feel good that I saved the last three I had from being scrap or parts cars.

Geezus, my car came from Arizona and it's a clear title. He is FOS.

On edit: I see he clarified his comment.

+928. I am firmly in the camp of let em die, so that others may live, and numbers dwindle, so that the ones that survive rise!

New Jersey.
No service history at all.
Owner says previous owner told him the timing belt might have been replaced a few years ago.

Went to see this one today.
http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1986-porsche-928s-9/
The colors in the photos are way off from reality.
But, seats, steering wheel and shift **** are quite faded.
No service history prior to 2014 and 47k miles.
Stamps in book stop in 1993 at 30k miles
Paint reading were between 5 and 6 on all panels except the hood that read between 9 and 11 in different areas.
Tires are Continental DWS dated 0713
Power steering pump is leaking.
Owner had to put a new battery in it this morning. (It had sat for 3 weeks)
On startup there was a "gurgling" sound coming from the under the car.
Water leaking from one of the cats.
Moisture and heavy black soot in tailpipe. (no fuel odor)
A/C reads 50 degrees at the vents.
Owner said he had it charged recently.
Note on service report reads that someone previous installed a 134A fitting on high side only and the system was not fully discharged and converted to 134A.
Electrics function properly with the exception of the hatch release.

Not 89 GT club sports... fronts on that one are 7" . Likely came from a 944..
Still a good wheel, but on the 89GT the fronts are 8".
