Dang, that looks GOOOOOOOOD…. Did you throw any film on it to keep it shiny and new after you get it back out on the road? My (also black) 2010 C4S Cab is getting a full front-end re-spray this week and I’m adding a full front Expel application to keep all the road acne off the new paint. I should get it back on Tuesday, and I hope it looks as good as your does

Had Xpel Clear Protective Film applied to the entire front of my '12 997 C2S including the two side mirrors. Love it! I now have full frontal protection; I hate rock chips.

Did the full front Xpel clear film on the front today...totally forgot about the mirrors, but I have to go back and have them install the rock guards. I'll have the mirrors done then

It's my birthday! Got a Function First shift **** for the car from my wife as a pressie. Installed it, and it's great. All in an attempt to find the same shift quality as my old S2000, I added a Numeric Racing shifter, Function First trans mount (still undecided if I will stick with that), and now the shift ****. It's all coming together nicely.
Also found a pool of oil on the garage floor though - gear oil leaking from the driver side front axle which had popped out but not fully reinstalled when I swapped in Eibach springs last week. Bought a massive 3/4" drive torque wrench, loosened the axle and popped it back in. Then chased down a suspected wheel bearing issue, but it took my mechanic buddy to find that it was just the right front backing plate which was slightly bent and rubbing on the rotor.
All in all, a good day!

A milestone. 2 weeks ago. It's already @ 52,000+ miles. We celebrated 50K with - Tail of the Dragon, Blue Ridge Parkway, new rear tires (MPSS), a bath, and an annual service. Hard to believe it's been 3.5 years and 33K miles on our watch. Love driving it now as much as the first test drive...T
