^^^^Looks great P-Daddy.
Today, I changed the kinematic lever on the clutch pedal. Wow!! Instant difference....no more "hang" at the top. Smooth and progressive throughout the entire range of motion. I had been dreading doing it for a while. It's a bit of a PIA and I hate bleeding the slave cylinder. I need to do the Andreas upgrade.

Best Weekend Ever
I spent a three-day weekend with the Chesapeake Maryland Porsche Club touring West Virginia. I purchased my 993 last October and haven't really had a chance to get to know the car. Three days and well over a thousand miles on some of the best twisty roads in the country taught me a lot about the car. The car was comfortable, reliable, and a ball to drive. It's my first P-car and now I get it!
The people my wife and I met from the Porsche Club were fantastic. We are not (yet) members of the Chesapeake club and we were welcome with open arms. I think there were about 25 cars on the trip so we broke into three groups. We stayed at the Stonewall Resort and made day trips to drive the countryside and other historic locations like the Greenbrier Hotel.
The only down side was my wife got car sick on the second day so I had to slow down and drive at a less than spirited pace. On the way back home, I got pulled over by a MD State Trooper for 53 in a 40 zone. He was very professional and after explaining why we were in his little town (we got lost), he gave me a warning

Great looking car you have, and love the BBS wheels! They look very similar to the Champion RG5B's I had on my 997. Road trips in these cars are wonderful aren't they? I bought mine 2 years ago as a toy to augment my Macan S. I sold the Macan 2 months ago and am waiting for an ordered Audi RS3 to arrive in August. But after driving the 993 as a DD for the past 2 months, I've enjoyed it so much that I'm starting to think I don't need the RS3. I want it, but don't need it. But maybe I can convince myself I need it......Oh crap!

There really isn't a much better way to drive some twisty roads than in a 993.

Upon arrival I discovered he'd volunteered a ride home to two of his buddies thinking I was bringing my truck.
Now I know the 993 can take four 6' passengers, two hockey sticks, and a pair of crutches not to mention two hockey bags and a back pack up front.
Comfortable? Not even remotely so. But we did it!
