Installed this beauty!!!

Like usual, it took much longer than I expected; I'm always running into weird $#!+. The nuts holding on the crest where additionally secured with what looked to be a gob of JB weld. So that lead to the post breaking off the crest when I tried to loosen the nuts, which made it way more fun...

Changed the oil. My dog Sox found the project horribly boring and was quite miffed that I wouldn't play frisbee.

More accurate to say what I did for the 993.

Question from the US border agent, "what did you purchase in Canada?" My answer, a few shirts, hats, cuban coffee and cigars, and some old used car seats. To the untrained jeep/porsche eye they could pass for stock.

Yes, I had to scratch the HB itch even though not cashmere. I'll install them, drive for a bit to determine if I like the feel before I recover.

Finally installed my HID kit from Tore. Very complete kit and a breeze to install, once i got my hands on a dremel. Crazy thing was, i only needed to dremel the right headlight. The bulb fit right into the opening on the left.

Now i need to take the 993 out at night....
